"I brought one of my guy friends to play golf, and he [Trump] goes, 'Oh my God, look how handsome your boyfriend is,' and all that," Kai recounted.
"I got so embarrassed because he has a girlfriend, and that was just awkward," she recalled.
Kai also hinted at another awkward encounter involving her grandfather and someone she was dating, adding, "We don’t have to talk about that."

Kai Trump shared how Donald Trump’s resilience has inspired her throughout her life.
"He's taught me never to give up, and if I have a dream, always try to achieve that dream," she said.
"One day, it will happen. He’s President of the United States again, so never give up on your dreams," she shared.

"It was really crucial for everyone around the world. To be there with him and understand how important it was for him to win was really special," the 17-year-old explained.
With Trump preparing to return to the White House in January, Kai revealed her desire to spend more time with family.
This even influenced her decision to attend the University of Miami, starting in 2026.
"I chose Miami because I just wanted to be close to my family… and with my Grandpa winning again, I just wanted to be close to my family that lives in Florida," she said, according to Daily Mail.
