Kamala Harris' campaign accused of using potential VP candidate Pete Buttigieg to woo 'White dude' voters
WASHINGTON, DC: Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign has been accused of allegedly using her potential running mate Pete Buttigieg to attract "White dude" voters as he is set to appear virtually at a Zoom event on Monday, July 29, with the group called "White Dudes for Harris".
The group's organizer, Ross Morales, mentioned in an email to a New York Post reporter, "As White Dudes, we know full well how MAGA cynically preys on resentments. This moment of crisis is challenging us, but we won’t let fear define who we are and take us – or our country – down a dark path."

"We’re coming together to create a space of trust where White Dudes can support each other and work to elect Kamala Harris the next President of the United States," Morales added in the email.
He further stated, "As White men, we recognize all too clearly the culture of toxic entitlement surrounding Donald Trump. We need to be honest with ourselves and each other about the role we’ve played in our nation’s history, good and bad. We’re creating a space of honesty and trust, where we can support each other and work for a new, brighter future."
Morales had initially asked for 10,000 registrations for Monday's virtual event, but interest in it seemed to soar once Buttigieg announced his presence.
After President Joe Biden dropped out from the 2024 presidential race last week after a dismal debate performance against Donald Trump in June, he endorsed Harris as his replacement.
Moreover, Buttigieg has shown his support for Harris and said that it is a "bad look" for Republicans to call her a diversity hire.
The White House administrator made an appearance on the New York Times podcast 'The Interview' on Saturday, July 27, and said, "The fact that they can’t think of what else to do, besides go right to race and gender, isn’t just revealing about some of the ugliest undercurrents in today’s Republican party – it’s also profoundly unimaginative because it means that they can’t speak to how any of this is going to make people’s lives better."
He added, "In other words, they can’t conceive of a politics that isn’t just about the personalities. And their inability to explain how your life as an American every day will be any different, certainly any better, is revealed in the fact that they immediately reach for one of two things, saying she’s too far left, which is what literally every Republican says about literally any Democrat who is running against the Republicans."

Several social media users brutally slammed Kamala Harris after it was alleged that her campaign is using potential VP candidate Pete Buttigieg to attract 'White dude' voters.
In the comments section of the outlet's article, one reader asked, "How about you apologize for taking every major city hostage for decades to point where people had to move out to feel safe? When does the apology come for that? Will there ever be an apology for that?"
Another wrote, "The only entitlement here is the elites pop paying for their nominee and Harris feeling entitled to accept it."
One person asked, "Far left Dem’s love telling you what to do or how you should feel… did one registered democrat vote for the current presidential candidate? No, but they will tell you who it should be."
Another commented, "This is so derpy, I don't know where to begin."
One individual wrote, "I trust DJT to act in the best interests of all Americans. I can’t say the same for KH," while another added, "Hard pass. This is so cringe. I’m not apologizing for things I had nothing to do with."
One commenter asked, "If this country is as bad as they feel, then why are they still here?" whereas another questioned, "Can't we just hit control, alt, delete and start over?"
