Kamala Harris ‘together again’ with Tim Walz after Mike Lindell files for Minnesota governor run
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Kamala Harris and Tim Walz may have lost their 2024 bid for the White House, but they’re clearly not done working together. The former Democratic ticket popped back into inboxes this week with a playful, almost nostalgic fundraising appeal, and the timing couldn’t be more pointed.
The email dropped just a day after MyPillow CEO and election conspiracy figure Mike Lindell filed paperwork to potentially challenge Walz for governor.

“This will not be an easy race. Tim is going up against the full weight of the MAGA machine, so we must show that we're behind him.”

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz appear ‘together again’ in new Democratic fundraising push
Subscribers to KamalaHarris.com were greeted on Thursday with a mock text-style email featuring the duo chatting like old campaign partners.
“Hi, Tim Walz here,” the Minnesota governor begins.
“Kamala too,” Harris replies.
“Together again,” Walz adds, a line that instantly caught attention online.
From there, the email shifts into a more urgent tone as Walz warns supporters about the latest development in his upcoming reelection race. “Trump loyalist and election denier Mike Lindell just jumped into the race against me for Governor of Minnesota,” he writes, pointing directly to the MyPillow founder’s newly filed paperwork.
The message then moves into familiar Democratic fundraising language, “We need your help,” before Walz asks supporters to “split a contribution between my reelection campaign and Kamala’s work elevating the next generation of leadership in America.”
Mike Lindell says he filed paperwork, but isn’t fully committed yet
The timing of the email was no accident. A day earlier, Lindell told The Minneapolis Star Tribune that while he had officially filed his initial paperwork, he still wasn’t 100% certain about running. “I am going to announce either way on Dec 11,” he said.
Lindell has long been a controversial figure within Minnesota and national politics, largely due to his high-profile promotion of election conspiracy theories after the 2020 race. His potential entrance into the 2026 race immediately intensified the political atmosphere around Walz’s reelection campaign.
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz lost in 2024, but their partnership still carries political weight
Although the Harris-Walz ticket narrowly won the national popular vote in 2024, they were shut out of every critical swing state, ultimately costing them the election.

But in Democratic circles, the pairing still holds symbolic value. Their public reappearance suggests that Harris is keeping herself visible within the party infrastructure, while Walz is using the connection to energize small-dollar donors early.

For supporters, the “together again” email felt like a reunion tour, a reminder of a campaign that ultimately couldn’t cross the finish line but still built a sizable base of loyal followers.
For critics, it was a signal that both Democrats are staying active, especially now that Lindell is hovering over the Minnesota governor’s race.
