LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Former Vice President Kamala Harris has secured representation in Hollywood as she plots her next course of action following a demanding general election battle against Donald Trump

Harris has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and returned to the organization that represented her before she was appointed vice president—only a few weeks after the agency declared it would represent former President Joe Biden.

Kamala Harris signs with CAA as one of her first acts post-2024 White House bid moves

The former US vice president signed a contract with CAA to be represented in all capacities, with a particular emphasis on "speaking engagements and publishing."

Harris and CAA will collaborate closely on her post-White House plans, developing strategic options to broaden the former vice president's platform in favor of the causes she has supported throughout her decades-long career in public service.

"CAA will work closely with Harris on her post-White House initiatives, creating strategic opportunities that expand her platform in support of the issues she has championed throughout decades-long career in public service," the Los Angeles-based agency stated, according to Deadline.

This will mark the return of Harris, who was a senator before she was sworn in as the 49th Vice President. She became the first woman, the first Black American, and the first South Asian American to be elected to the office.

Harris is expected to receive the NAACP Image Awards Chairman's Award. The award honors those who "excel in public service and leverage their unique platforms to ignite and drive meaningful change."

She will accept the prestigious award in her first television appearance since leaving office during the 56th Image Awards event on February 22, which will be broadcast live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, reported Variety.

Kamala Harris joined the CAA two weeks after former president Joe Biden, who was represented by the agency from 2017 to 2020, also signed a contract with them.

In an Instagram post on Monday, the Creative Artists Agency stated that it represented Biden from 2017 to 2020 following his eight-year vice presidential tenure.

"President Biden is one of America's most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs," said CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett, who praised the former leader's "commitment to public service."

"His lifelong commitment to public service is one of unity, optimism, dignity, and possibility. We are profoundly honored to partner with him again," he added.

One X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, "How about a TV show on nbc with Hilary called the litter and the bitter."

Another user said, "Seated for her acting debut," while one person added, "So…NO TALENT is needed to be represented by CAA…gotcha."

Another asked, "Talent for what?? This is such a weird switch for politicians but maybe this just confirms they’re all just actors."

"I think it’s for voice lessons and speech therapy. That way she can start doing voices for cartoons," one individual remarked.

One declared, "At least her acting skills will be at right place now..."

"New host for “funniest home videos?” Naw she’d mess that up too…." added another.
