WASHINGTON, DC: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt lashed out at Trump’s opponents for doubting his ability to handle the Iran war after Trump pushed back against lawmakers over quicker resolution demands.

In a scathing attack, Leavitt targeted all the critics in the media and the Democrats, asserting that from 2016 to 2026, their doubts about Trump have always been proven wrong.

Karoline Leavitt blasts critics for underestimating Trump

Appearing on a Fox News interview, aimed at President Donald Trump’s doubters on Iran, the Press Secretary said that they will be proven wrong again for misjudging Trump. In the brutal message, Leavitt reminded the media critics, Democrats, and merchants that, as they were wrong about Trump’s winning prospects in 2016, they are underestimating Trump on the Iran issue.

“To all the critics in the media, the Democrats, the panicans out there, you doubted he would win in 2016 and you were wrong,” Leavitt said. “You doubted he would return to the Oval Office in 2024, and you were proven wrong.”

Karoline Leavitt reassures Donald Trump would be 'final decision maker' on Iran

Taking on critics who suggested that Trump would not be able to strike a deal that would be in the best interest of America, Leavitt said that such an idea is "laughable."

She said, “The idea that President Trump would not be a final decision maker is a fallacy, and the idea that President Trump should make a deal that is not in the best interest of the American people, the American taxpayer, and our great military is also laughable.”

Drawing a reference from the time when critics suggested that Trump would not be able to negotiate a ceasefire to end the war in Gaza, Leavitt emphasized that Trump’s opponents were always proven wrong.

“I remember last year, I remember fighting with journalists from the podium about the president’s ability to strike a deal to end the war in Gaza and bring home all the hostages, and again, they were proven wrong,” Leavitt said. “I suspect this time is going to be no different, Sean.”
