WASHINGTON, DC: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt spoke to reporters on Wednesday, March 4, and defended Donald Trump’s attack on Iran. She praised Donald Trump’s leadership and stressed that the United States has “more than enough” weapons to handle a prolonged conflict.

Leavitt also described 'Operation Epic Fury' as “absolutely crushing” the Iranian regime. She said the campaign signals a turning point after decades of what she characterized as Iran’s support for extremist activities.

In addition, she outlined several other points about the war. She stressed that the US military is fully prepared. She supported the government’s plan and said the US will keep putting pressure on Tehran.

Karoline Leavitt claims US military stockpiles ready for long Iran fight

Karoline Leavitt said the United States has “more than enough” weapons to handle a long war with Iran, dismissing concerns about low military supplies.

“The United States of America has more than enough capability to not only successfully execute Operation Epic Fury, but to go much further,” she said during the press briefing. “And we have weapon stockpiles in places that many in this world don’t even know about,” she added.

Her comments came after President Donald Trump had earlier said the US weapons supply was “good” but “not where we want to be” in a post on Truth Social. On the other hand, leaders of defense companies will go to the White House on Friday, March 6. They will meet to talk about making more weapons quickly.

Leavitt explained that Trump was criticizing the previous administration for sending weapons to Ukraine during its war with Russia. She said he was not warning about any current shortage.

“The president was pointing out that, unfortunately, we had a very stupid and incompetent leader in this White House for four years who gave away many of our best weapons for nothing,” she said.

Karoline Leavitt details Trump’s strategy on Iran 

Karoline Leavitt spoke in detail about the administration’s position on the conflict with Iran during the press briefing.

She explained what the United States is trying to achieve militarily and strongly defended Donald Trump’s decision to launch the strikes, as per Fox News. She said the US wants to destroy Iran’s missile program and “annihilate” its naval forces while also stopping Iran from building a nuclear weapon, adding that regime change is not the main aim.

Leavitt said president acted based on what she described as a “good feeling” that Tehran was preparing to attack the United States.

She also did not completely rule out US involvement in a reported strike on a girls’ elementary school in southern Iran but insisted that the US military “does not target civilians.”

Leavitt further claimed the US would achieve “complete and total dominance” over Iranian airspace within hours and defended comments by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, saying it is a “fact” that parts of the media attempt to portray Trump negatively.
