WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump is thrilled with the performance of his new White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the Wall Street Journal revealed in an article published on Saturday, February 16.

At 27 years old, Leavitt is the youngest to hold the prestigious position. However, she ticked all the right boxes for the business tycoon by being fiercely competitive with the press, adept at pushing his narrative, and dismissive of traditional media norms.

According to the publication, Karoline Leavitt stated that she is willing to “listen as much as possible” to what Trump says in public and discuss his thoughts with him in private to “articulate his message as effectively as possible.”

This led to her becoming one of POTUS' favorites, as he recently declared of her at an event, "A star is born!”

Ari Fleischer, former spokesman of George W Bush, shared about Leavitt, "She speaks Donald Trump fluently. She knows his ins and outs. She knows what to say, what not to say. And she’s comfortable."

After taking charge on January 20, Leavitt announced social media influencers would be given space at briefings alongside traditional media. The move follows Trump's policy of sidelining legacy media while promoting MAGA on digital outlets.

She went further to outright attack major outlets for disagreeing with Trump's policies. On Friday, February 14, she banned the Associated Press from the Oval Office and Air Force One indefinitely for refusing to comply with the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America in their reports.

During his first term, Trump found his press secretaries to be overly cautious and ineffective. Leavitt's style has been the exact opposite, as she refuses to filter or clarify the commander-in-chief's positions, but amplifies and attacks.

Internet calls out Karoline Leavitt for promoting Trump's 'propaganda'

Netizens reacting to the news on Mediaite's website were seemingly not impressed with Leavitt's work. The following tweets demonstrate their takes.

"She seems on edge a lot. Has trouble with details or simply has been told not to bother with them," wrote a person.

"‘She Speaks Donald Trump Fluently’ = LIES SHAMELESSY," expressed another.

"Propaganda Barbie," jibed a third.

"Finally someone who can define covfefe?" trolled a fourth.

"Yes, she speaks broken phrases coldly without voice fluctuations that make no sense and are totally detached from the reality we’re seeing with our eyes and wallets. Trump Speak," chided a fifth.

"It's easy to speak Trump's language when all you do is spew lies and propaganda," claimed yet another.
