WASHINGTON, DC: Karoline Leavitt traded her usual commanding presence behind the podium for a much more tender role this Valentine's Day.

The 27-year-old White House press secretary, often seen in sharp suits and delivering crisp statements, embraced the holiday with a heartwarming Instagram post featuring her six-month-old son, Nicholas "Niko" Robert.

A picture-perfect Valentine's Day mother-son moment for Karoline Leavitt and baby Niko

"Happy Valentine’s Day from me and my little valentine 🥹🥰❤️♥️," read the caption of her adorable Valentine's Day post.

Ditching the stern expressions that have become synonymous with her public persona, Leavitt glowed in a red turtleneck and sleek black pants as she posed with baby Niko.

The little one, stealing the spotlight, sported an apt Valentine's Day ensemble—a red long-sleeve shirt emblazoned with the words, "Mister Irresistible," and pants covered in tiny hearts.

His beaming smile in the first snap mirrored his mother's joy as she cradled him in her arms. The second image captured an even sweeter moment—Leavitt lifting Niko into the air and planting a kiss on his cheek.

Clearly, politics took a backseat for the day as she reveled in the love of her tiny valentine.

Niko, who arrived on July 10, 2024, is already a favorite among Leavitt's followers, many of whom have watched her transition from a doting mom to a history-making press secretary in a matter of months.

In fact, Leavitt, who served as the national press secretary for Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, cut her planned maternity leave short to immediately return to work after the president faced an assassination attempt during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
