Expert reveals Karoline Leavitt's engagement ring featuring 3-carat round diamond’s staggering price tag

WASHINGTON, DC: Karoline Leavitt, the youngest White House press secretary in history, is making waves both politically and personally.

Aside from her impressive career, which includes heading President Donald Trump's PR team and managing press gaggles, Leavitt has garnered attention for her personal life, particularly her engagement to Nicholas Riccio, a man 32 years her senior.

While the age gap has turned heads, it's her engagement ring that's become the latest topic of conversation.

Karoline Leavitt's $90,000 diamond engagement ring steals the spotlight

During a White House briefing on February 12, 2025, Karoline Leavitt drew attention from the press not only for the government contract receipt she held up but also for the dazzling diamond engagement ring on her finger.

The bright sparkle of the ring caught the eyes of those in the room, making it difficult for the press to focus solely on the paper she was holding.

Leavitt announced her engagement on Instagram in December 2023, sharing the moment with her followers and describing it as “The best Christmas of my life.”

Her Instagram post featured a carousel of photos, including one of Riccio getting down on one knee on a beach in New Hampshire, solidifying the romantic gesture.

Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro, exclusively revealed the price tag of Leavitt's stunning ring.

"Karoline's ring appears to feature a 3-carat round diamond set on a four-prong Cathedral setting. I estimate the value to be near $90,000, depending on the diamond's quality," Fried explained.

He went on to compliment the ring's design, saying, "The Cathedral setting does give the diamond height and character."

But Karoline Leavitt’s engagement ring isn't the only piece of expensive jewelry she’s sporting. Mike Fried also shared insights into her wedding band. "Karoline is also wearing an eternity wedding band lined with diamonds, and I estimate the value could be up to $10,000," he said. "Overall, the style of her rings is traditional and classic," he said.

According to The List, Leavitt's ring stack, valued at roughly $100,000, is certainly one to impress. However, the Trump family's jewelry history may set an even higher bar.

For instance, Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr's ex-wife, received a $100,000 engagement ring, while Ivanka Trump’s engagement ring boasts a value of over $500,000 for a 5-carat diamond.

But perhaps the most jaw-dropping piece in the Trump family collection is Melania Trump’s 15-carat engagement ring, which is valued at a staggering $1.5 million.
