Ivanka Trump's hair extensions mishap at Super Bowl LIX ruins her picture-perfect image

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA: Ivanka Trump, known for putting a lot of effort into creating her flawless image, had an embarrassing hair extensions incident at the Super Bowl LIX.

Ivanka's father, President Donald Trump, posted a video of them applauding during the football game on Sunday, February 9, as they watched the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Kansas City Chiefs. 

Eagle-eyed viewers were quick to spot that there was something wrong with Ivanka's hair extensions and pointed it out in the comments section of the Instagram video.

Ivanka Trump looked stunning at the Super Bowl in a sleek Akris white sleeveless suit with a broad brown leather belt that was tightened at the waist. The former White House advisor accessorized her suit with a Hunting Season purse with a raffia top handle, as per Daily Mail.

With her flowing blond hair, Ivanka, who was videotaped and photographed for the entire time she was at the game, looked great from the front, but the back of her head was something else, as she appeared to have improperly attached clip-in hair extensions. 

Although the type of extensions she used to add volume and length to her mane is tough to determine, they were badly applied, leaving a huge bulge in the center of her head that her natural hair could hardly cover.

Ivanka Trump's past struggle with hair extensions

In October 2022, the Daily Mail released a set of images showing Ivanka Trump walking around Miami, Florida, with her roots grown out and her extensions on display. 

The extensions were readily apparent from the back and side, drawing emphasis to the short, broken-off layers on top.

This is not the first time that a Trump family member's extensions have been unintentionally revealed on social media.

Vice President JD Vance posted a picture of Melania Trump's head's back on X (formerly Twitter) on December 12, which appeared to show a portion of her extensions.

According to London-based hairstylist Julia North, who founded the high-end wig company Wigonia, Melania appeared to wear tape-in or beaded-row extensions at the time.

"You can spot the telltale signs where the natural hair meets the extension pieces, particularly visible in the mid-sections," Julia told the Daily Mail.

Fans and followers flocked to the comments section of the POTUS' Instagram video to poke fun at Ivanka Trump's hair extensions mishap. 

One commented, "Some bad hair extensions there," and another said, "Yes I’m surprised she can get better extensions."

"Came looking for this comment, hoping i was the only that noticed her lumpy hair extensions!!" exclaimed one.

One on X wrote, "How do I get Ivanka Trump in my chair???? The video of the back of her head, her stylist should be embarrassed!!! Girl...I can fix those extensions and color!!!"

"Are those the best extensions money can buy?" questioned a person. 

"Speaking of fake hair, Ivanka needs a new wig or extensions. It looks so fake," wrote one more.
