LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian was stunned when a recent brain scan revealed that parts of her brain were showing low activity. The finding came during an appointment with Dr. Daniel Amen on the latest episode of The Kardashians, where the physician walked her through images indicating reduced activity in the front region of her brain.

According to Dr. Amen, the pattern was consistent with chronic stress—a condition Kardashian had been navigating amid highly public issues with her ex-husband, Kanye West. As the doctor explained, the scans displayed what looked like “holes,” representing areas firing below optimal levels. He noted that such reduced activity could make it harder for her to manage stress, especially during periods of intense workload.

Dr. Amen told Kim Kardashian that the “front part of your brain is less active than it should be,” adding that the reduced activity could affect her ability to cope under pressure. At the time, Kardashian was preparing for multiple major commitments, including the bar exam, the Met Gala, and a robbery-related legal case. She immediately pushed back on the results, saying, “That just can’t be,” and insisted she needed to get on a plan quickly because she had significant responsibilities approaching.

Despite the concerning image, Dr. Amen reassured her that her overall brain activity suggested she was not severely stressed, anxious, or depressed. He even called her brain “beautiful” and said her positive mindset made it unlikely she would develop Alzheimer’s disease later in life.

The doctor attributed the low activity to long-term stress, which aligned with Kim Kardashian's strained relationship with Kanye West.

The former couple, who married in 2014 and divorced in 2021, share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. In another segment of the show, Kardashian admitted she felt “pretty tested” by West’s behavior and emphasized that, regardless of their separation, they remained linked through their children. She said she did not have “the luxury of walking away,” underscoring the emotional toll of the ongoing dynamic.

Earlier medical scan revealed aneurysm in Kim Kardashian’s brain

In last week’s episode, Kardashian also shared that a previous medical scan found an aneurysm in her brain, which she described as alarming. Doctors later clarified that it had been present for years and was not immediately dangerous. Still, the discovery added to the stress she was already experiencing as she studied for the bar exam, which she ultimately did not pass and partly blamed on ChatGPT.

Even so, Kardashian recorded a professional win with her acting debut in Hulu’s scripted series 'All’s Fair,' where she played a lawyer. Although she worried she would not be a “good actress,” the series became one of Hulu’s most-watched in years and has since been renewed, despite earning a zero percent Rotten Tomatoes score.
