KING CITY, CALIFORNIA: During a birthday celebration in California, a shooting incident occurred resulting in the deaths of four individuals.

On Sunday, three assailants, dressed in dark attire and wearing masks to conceal their faces, opened fire on attendees at a party in King City.

According to reports, seven individuals sustained injuries during the incident, with multiple shots being fired at the premises.

As per the US Sun, authorities revealed that the four deceased victims, all adults, comprised one woman and three men. Their identities have not yet been disclosed.

Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez took to Facebook to share details of a disturbing shooting incident, noting that it occurred on March 3, 2024, at 6:00 pm on Sunday in the 200 Block N 2nd Street. Authorities are treating the incident as a homicide investigation. 

Upon arrival, investigators discovered three adult males with gunshot wounds in the front yard of the residence, all of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.

Additionally, four other individuals sustained gunshot wounds. One female adult was taken to Mee Memorial Hospital by another person but was pronounced dead upon arrival. 

The other three male adults were transported to Natividad Hospital in Salinas for medical treatment. 

Further examination revealed that there had been a gathering at the residence with several people in the front yard when a silver Kia pulled up. 

Three males emerged from the vehicle and fired multiple shots at the partygoers before fleeing the scene. 

The suspects, dressed in dark-colored clothing and wearing masks, have not been identified and remain at large. The investigation is ongoing.
