NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Two TikTok personalities, Kyle Marisa Roth and Eva Evans, died unexpectedly this month.

Reports surfaced of Kyle's death at 36 on April 15, followed by the revelation of Eva's death six days later at the age of 29.

Now, a strange connection has emerged between their untimely deaths.

It seems that both women had posted TikTok videos discussing the same topic just days before their sudden and shocking deaths: pop sensation JoJo Siwa.

Kyle and Eva discussed JoJo's final video of 6 seconds before their deaths

Known on the platform for her insights into the entertainment industry, Kyle uploaded a brief six-second video on April 7, posing a question to her followers about the Nickelodeon star.

She questioned, "Do you guys remember when JoJo Siwa and Tom Sandoval were on that reality show together? I can tell."

The final video she shared before her death was confirmed by her family last week, as per DailyMail.

Meanwhile, Eva, also recognized as a writer and director known for the Amazon Prime series 'Club Rat,' expressed her admiration for JoJo in her final uploaded video before her death.

In the video dated April 18, she remarked, "You know what? I'm rooting for JoJo. I want her to succeed. It's making me sad and depressed to watch her flail."

JoJo, at the age of 20, has recently garnered significant attention for her daring fashion choices and controversial remarks while promoting her latest single, 'Karma.'

Eva also commented on JoJo's style, suggesting she needed a new stylist, and criticized some of her looks as "inauthentic."

Some observers pointed out the coincidence that both Eva and Kyle had discussed JoJo before their deaths.

Internet response to TikTok video discussion

One person commented on Eva's TikTok, "WEIRD that last video of Kyle Marissa was also about JoJo Siwa." [sic]

Another user replied to her "Probably because they're influencers and jojo is trending right now." [sic]

A user added, "Still, that’s an enormous coincidence. Think of all the news in the world: Taylor Swift, for instance, and they both finish with Jojo. That’s odd."

They asked, "Do you think this is 'the curse of JoJo?"' as per DailyMail.

However, some rejected the notion. One individual responded, "Don’t even start with conspiracies, they’re incredibly dangerous. Have respect."

"All of my For You page has been eviscerating that little girl. Y’all [are reaching]," said another.

Two months prior, Kyle, who had previously battled colon cancer and amassed 200,000 followers, openly shared her battles with depression.

She recounted experiencing her worst panic attack and urged her followers not to offer reassurances like "you'll be OK," stressing that depression is a mental illness.

Kyle emphasized her preference for in-person interactions over phone communication during her low moments, stating that she felt overwhelmed by messages.

She also shared her frustration about her main TikTok account being banned without explanation in late March.

How did Kyle's loved ones react?

The motive behind the deaths of the two women remains undisclosed, as noted by Kyle's mother, Jacquie Cohen Roth, on LinkedIn last week, "This is not a platform for personal life shares but so many of my connections on this platform go back years and I have a devastating loss to share."

She continued, "My daughter Kyle has passed away. She touched some of your lives personally and some of your lives via her immense life on another platform."

She further added, "Kyle loved and lived fiercely. Nothing makes sense now and we'll understand more in the next few days. Be kind to one another please."

Regarding Eva, her sister Lila Joy confirmed her death on Sunday in an emotional Instagram tribute.

She added, "Yesterday, my family received heartbreaking news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, and hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has passed away."

Lila also said, "After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be. I wish I had Eva here now to refer to because she would have better words and know how to say what I don't."

"I am keeping this brief so we can plan for the next few days, but you'll be hearing a lot more from me on how much Eva means to me and just how different the world will be without her," she concluded.
