Lara Trump sparks 'bad plastic surgery' rumors as Internet notices her changed appearance at inauguration

WASHINGTON, DC: Lara Trump, alongside her husband, Eric Trump, and their two children, Luke and Carolina, made a stylish appearance at her father-in-law Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration on Monday, January 20.

However, instead of focusing on her outfit, the Internet zeroed in on her looks, claiming her face looked puffier than usual and speculating that it might be due to botched aesthetic procedures.

For the occasion, the former co-chair of the Republican National Committee picked a sophisticated navy ensemble, featuring a long, double-breasted coat from Rabanne with a fitted silhouette, textured chevron finish, and frayed detailing at the cuffs and hem.

The coat was accented with silver-toned buttons and a high neckline. Lara styled her look with sleek blonde waves, minimal makeup, and understated accessories.

The mother of two also coordinated her children's outfits as well. Her son Luke wore a tailored navy suit paired with a red tie, while her daughter Carolina sported a navy cape coat with red piping details. 

Completing the family’s coordinated look, Eric wore a classic black overcoat, a pale blue tie, and dress shoes.

However, it seems like most netizens focused on what they deemed a "totally unrecognizable" look. 

This isn’t the first time Lara has been the subject of plastic surgery rumors; discussions about her appearance were circulating among X (formerly Twitter) users as early as November. Many have drawn comparisons between her previous look and recent photos of her and Eric shared on X.

After images of Lara Trump from Donald Trump’s inauguration festivities were shared, several social media users quickly noticed changes to her appearance.

One said, "I think they got their Botox done too soon.. or Lara is losing her false eyelashes.. something is up with her eyes tonight."

"Which of them has had the most plastic surgery?  Both are totally unrecognizable from their former selves," another joked. 

A person claimed, "What I noticed today was how every woman over 40 has the same work done to her face. Lara Trump, Kim Guilfoyle, Kristi Noem, Carrie Underwood, etc are all just trying to look like Kai Trump The Mar-A-Lago makeovers are out of control. Ivanka looks remarkably like a blonde Kimberly Guilfoyle now. Lara & Kristi Noeme are almost identical."

"How does Trump tell them all apart? Or is it so he can recognize the female members of the tribe?" they asked.
