WASHINGTON, DC: Fox News host Laura Ingraham claimed President Joe Biden was in "serious cognitive decline" and making major decisions was the "most serious issue" with him, during her monologue on the June 5 episode of 'The Ingraham Angle.'

Her comments came in light of an article published in The Wall Street Journal on June 4, titled, 'Behind Closed Doors, Biden Shows Signs of Slipping.' She put it on the Democrats to prove that the incumbent was capable of "handling himself," which divided the internet and had many internet users voicing similar concerns about former President and presumptive GOP nominee, Donald Trump.

Laura Ingraham says Democrats need to prove Joe Biden 'capable of handling himself'

Ingraham insisted that the issue with Biden was obvious stating, "To use Biden's favorite crutch word, look, we don't have to prove that he's in severe cognitive decline. There's no question about that. It's beyond dispute."

"The burden is on them to show us that Biden is actually capable of handling himself in a wide-ranging, on-camera, serious interview, shown live without edits."

"The most serious issue here is that it is obvious that key decisions regarding our nation's present and our future are being made by unelected officials — probably a combination of Tony Blinken, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and chief of staff Jeff Zients, perhaps in coordination with Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, but none of these people are president, but they might as well be," she continued her allegations.

"The White House may be fooling some voters and have some press people snookered here, but we know that he's not fooling President Xi of China or Putin of Russia, or any world leader for that matter, and the Cabinet knows how bad it is. As we see from the Journal piece, top congressional leaders do too," she concluded, referring to the WSJ article.

Laura Ingraham's comments about Joe Biden divide the Internet

The internet had mixed reactions to Laura Ingraham's critique of Joe Biden.

"There is no burden, he can't," a user slammed Biden, responding to Ingraham's statement over the social media platform X.

"Insurmountable task," jibed another.

"lol. he has been doing a pretty darn good job of that," commented a third.

"We need to see Trump handle himself. It’s clear the last interview with him was heavily edited," slammed a fourth user.

"The burden on the right is to show Trump can stay awake when he’s not golfing," mocked a fifth.
