WASHINGTON, DC: Far-right activist Laura Loomer has once again found herself at the center of controversy, this time for claiming she's being targeted for breaking the story of an affair involving Kamala Harris' husband Doug Emhoff.

Loomer alleges that the backlash she's facing is directly connected to her revealing details about Emhoff's previous extramarital relationship, which led to the end of his marriage with Kerstin Emhoff.

According to Laura Loomer, Doug Emhoff allegedly had an affair that ultimately caused a rift in his marriage with his ex-wife Kerstin Emhoff.

Doug, now married to Harris, has publicly acknowledged his past mistakes, stating, "During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side," The New York Times reported.

The couple's history resurfaced in the public eye following Harris' rise to national prominence.

Emhoff, Kerstin, Harris, and Emhoff's children, Ella and Cole, have since formed a blended family, showcasing their unity during the Democratic National Convention (DNC), where the VP accepted her party's presidential nomination.

However, Loomer’s allegations didn't stop with the affair itself. She further claimed that Doug's relationship with his daughter's teacher, Najen Naylor, resulted in a pregnancy, which Naylor did not carry to term.

Loomer asserts that after she exposed the story and others involving prominent figures has led to a concerted effort to discredit her.

"I broke the story about @Kamala Harris's husband having an affair and knocking his daughter's teacher up," Loomer wrote on X (formerly Twitter), before adding, "I exposed Judge Merchan and his daughter and her business partner. I broke the story about Governor Tim Walz's @GovTim Walz brother accusing Kamala Harris of turning our country into a Third World banana Republic, and embarrassed him when I exposed and exclusively reported that his family was endorsing Donald Trump."

She also took credit for exposing an alleged staged interaction between Harris and purported supporters, who Loomer claims were actually Democratic volunteers. 

According to her, these revelations have led to a campaign of retaliation against her.

"I have done some serious damage to her campaign, and so clearly there is a coordinated effort by the media, Kamala Harris, Fani Willis, probably judge Merchan and his daughters' company, and some RINO members of Congress to attack me because they don't like how effective I am," she stated.

Laura Loomer's allegations of being targeted due to exposing Doug Emhoff's previous affair received mixed reactions on the internet.

On X, one social media user remarked, "This is what you get when you are an attention monger."
