WASHINGTON, DC: Pro-Israel activist and die-hard Trumper Laura Loomer lashed out at fellow right-wing commentator Candace Owens after Owens admitted she felt “embarrassed” for supporting former President Donald Trump.

Owens made the remark during her sit-down with British TV host Piers Morgan on 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' Tuesday, criticizing Trump’s order for US air strikes in Iran.

“I feel embarrassed that I told people to go vote for him, because this wasn’t going to happen, and it is happening,” the 36-year-old said, arguing that the strikes betrayed Trump’s once “America First” promise.

While Owens insisted she did not regret voting for Trump over former Vice President Kamala Harris in 2024, she made clear her disappointment. “He’s been a chronic disappointment,” she declared.

Laura Loomer fires back at Candace Owens over her Trump criticism

Owens’ remarks provoked a swift and scathing response from Loomer, a longtime Trump supporter.

“Imagine saying you were ‘embarrassed’ to vote for Trump & you regret telling people to vote for him,” Loomer wrote in an X post. “Anyone who says that is admitting they would have preferred living under @KamalaHarris. The Jew and Israel Obsessed podcasters are trying to fracture the party before midterms over a foreign country. It’s delusional and selfish.”

Her remarks came as Owens warned that Trump’s actions could endanger U.S. military service members and reshape American politics. “The picture of politics in America is going to look very differently,” Owens said. “I don’t know where to go from here…but this is not the candidate that I voted for.”

The divide between Trump loyalists and critics within MAGA has grown more visible, with figures such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson also expressing skepticism over Trump’s recent foreign policy moves.

Owens told Morgan that Trump initially won voters’ support by promising to keep America out of “never-ending wars.” She claimed Trump allowed “Israel-first” Republicans to hijack the MAGA movement and distort its “America First” agenda.

“There was no imminent threat,” Owens said, arguing Trump acted at the behest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. bidding. “This was not Trump’s decision. It was Bibi Netanyahu’s decision. We’re very aware that Israel is dictating our foreign policy, and we would now like that to stop.”

Morgan defended Trump’s decision as a means of checking Iranian aggression, calling Iran “the main sponsor of terrorism in the Middle East.” Owens countered that Israel was perpetrating violence in Gaza, asking, “Who’s the bigger terrorist?”

Owens also criticized Trump’s campaign for accepting $100 million from billionaire Miriam Adelson, claiming she pushed for annexing the West Bank.

Laura Loomer previously attacked Candace Owens over Charlie Kirk conspiracy claims

This wasn’t Loomer’s first attack on Owens. Last month, Loomer denounced Owens for spreading conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk’s death and suggesting his wife, Erika Kirk, had a role in it.

“Demented,” Loomer wrote. “Candace Owens is now turning her conspiracies onto the wife of Charlie Kirk. Erika Kirk, just know that many of us are disgusted by what Candace is doing to you and @TPUSA. Imagine insinuating that Charlie’s wife had something to do with his assassination. SICK.”
