WASHINGTON, DC: As the US election nears, a post from conservative commentator Laura Loomer has gained widespread attention. Loomer, a supporter of MAGA, has alleged that Jeff Walz, brother of Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz, supports Donald Trump, the Republican Presidential candidate.

She shared a photo that appears to be a donation receipt, asserting that Jeff made a contribution to Trump's campaign in 2016.



 

However, the authenticity of Laura Loomer's claims and the evidence provided has not been verified yet.

Laura Loomer mentioned in the post, "Tim Walz @GovTimWalz and @KamalaHarris are such a bad Presidential ticket that Walz’s own BROTHER is supporting Donald Trump instead.

The post further read, "According to these FEC records, Jeff Walz, the brother of VP candidate Tim Walz, donated to President Trump’s presidential campaign in 2016. Jeff Walz lives in Florida. Perhaps I will go interview and ask him about his support for Donald Trump."

Tim Walz's brother is reportedly contemplating an alliance with Trump and criticized his sibling's suitability for leadership last year when he stated that he is "not the type of character you want making decisions about your future."

Laura Loomer uncovered Jeff Walz's Facebook profile, which features a series of posts highly critical of his brother and the current administration.

"The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future," Jeff said in a comment and revealed, "Haven't spoke to him in 8 years. I'm 100% opposed to all his ideology. My family wasn't given any notice that he was selected and denied security the days after."

A political reporter shared Jeff's remarks that originated from a post dated March 30, 2023, following Trump's conviction, in which he commented, "We've just become a third world banana republic."



 

Internet backs Jeff Walz and slams Tim Walz amid family feud

As the news broke on social media, users began to express their support for Jeff and leveled criticism at Tim.

A user wrote, "Jeff Walz knows exactly what a nut job his brother is."



 

Another added, "Tim Walz is weird, fake, and cringe"



 

One commentator asked, "Do you know Tim Walz is a fraud just like his brother does?"



 

Referring to Jeff, one wrote, "Protect this man. Hopefully he decided to come forward and tell the American people what they need to hear."
