WASHINGTON, DC: Sen Lindsey Graham (R-SC) insisted GOP nominee Donald Trump should focus on his Democratic counterpart Kamala Harris' record as a "dangerous liberal" instead of her heritage on the latest episode of 'Fox News Sunday'.

The remarks were made while the South Carolina lawmaker was discussing the former president's recent comments about the vice president's racial identity with Fox News guest host Jacqui Heinrich.

At the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago, Trump falsely claimed that Harris "happened to turn Black" after years of identifying as Indian.

Harris, who was born to a Jamaican father and an Indian mother, has always identified as both Black and Indian.

Lindsey Graham advices Donald Trump to prosecute the case against Kamala Harris' bad judgment

Fox News guest host Jacqui Heinrich pushed Lindsey Graham on Donald Trump's remarks, asking, "Doesn't this kind of language alienate millions of Black voters including from your state?"

The South Carolina senator responded, "Yeah, 30 percent of my state is African American... So here's what I would say to [former] President Trump, the problem I have with Kamala Harris is not her heritage, it's her judgment."

He added, "She has been wrong about everything. When she tried to explain what she would do about inflation and an upcoming recession, it made no sense. It's gibberish."

"Every day we're talking about her heritage and not her terrible, dangerous liberal record throughout her entire political life, it's a good day for her and a bad day for us. So, I would encourage President Trump to prosecute the case against Kamala Harris' bad judgment," continued the ardent Trump supporter.

Graham later warned Trump that it was his election to lose, adding, "It's important you win to reset a broken border and get the world in good order. The American people are looking to have their problems solved. I think your presidency was an incredible presidency for national security and prosperity."
