WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump made an eerie four-word promise to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s husband, Nicholas Riccio, during the White House Halloween celebration, according to a lip reader.

Leavitt made a surprise appearance at the event alongside her husband and infant son, where Trump was seen leaning in and making what appeared to be a personal assurance.

Lip reader reveals Trump's chat with Karoline Leavitt's family

Lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Mirror US that Trump started the exchange by talking to Leavitt's son.

“Here we are, sweetheart,” the president allegedly said while giving him candy, according to Nicola. He then spoke to Leavitt, asking her, "Are you okay?" before he "reaches out kindly, then quickly speaks to her husband as Karoline nods," Nicola added.

The president told Leavitt's husband, “You should be proud of yourself. I did it in 24 hours; I knew it’d happen before I returned, between all the different places. She’s doing a great job."

He then allegedly made a promise to Riccio, telling him, "I'll look after you," Nicola said. "Turning to Karoline, he repeats, 'We'll look after you,' and she nods," the lip reader added.

Nicola said that the president then turned to Melania and asked, "Do you agree?" before she nodded. "I can feel it," the president reportedly responded. He continued speaking to Riccio, with Nicola claiming he asked him: "Are you learning from your God?".

Riccio's answer was inaudible, but she said that the president then told him, “You are trying to learn, that’s action.” Nicola concluded: "Nicholas responds again, and Donald finishes, 'That’s alright.' He turns to Karoline and says, 'Have a good time.' Then pats Nicholas on the back, saying: 'Thank you very much.'"

During the Halloween celebration at the White House on Friday, October 31, Leavitt was accompanied by her one-year-old son, Niko, and husband, Riccio, as she greeted the president and the first lady, Melania Trump, while they handed out candy to guests on the South Lawn.

Niko was seen dressed in a pumpkin costume, perched on Leavitt’s hip as she spoke to Melania.

Later, she was seen engaging in a brief conversation with Trump before he turned to her husband, with whom he had a lengthier discussion, which was also joined by Melania.
