MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: Jimmy Kimmel ingeniously flipped one of Donald Trump's preferred insults aimed at President Joe Biden on Trump himself on April 15.

Trump has frequently dubbed Biden as "Sleepy Joe," a label echoed by his conservative media supporters like Sean Hannity.

Jimmy Kimmel pokes fun at Trump's courtroom nap

After reports surfaced indicating that Trump seemed to have nodded off during the initial day of his criminal trial, Kimmel joked, "Trump appears to be sleeping. His head keeps dropping down and his mouth goes slack. Trump has apparently jolted back awake noticing the notes his lawyer passed him several minutes ago."

He added, "If Biden is 'Sleepy Joe,' I guess that makes you Doze-O the Clown."

Kimmel humorously remarked, "Imagine if Joe Biden fell asleep in court on the first day of his trial. Trump would be calling him 'Comatose Joe,' Fox News would be talking about this until Christmas, but not old Donny Nappleseed."

Despite the humor, Kimmel saw a silver lining, noting, "Multiple reports said Trump's head drooped until his chin hit his chest which I don't maybe he was just following the price of his truth social stock."

He further said, "It's nice to see even Donald Trump is exhausted by Donald Trump."

Netizens divided over Jimmy Kimmel's commentary on Trump's courtroom nap

Following these recent events and Jimmy Kimmel's commentary on the situation, netizens exhibited mixed reactions.

One X user wrote, "So what? Kimmel has a small audience of dedicated Trump haters. In fact, I seriously doubt that Kimmel and his audence have much more in their lives than their hate for Trump. It's all they're able to think of. A post can be about cooking, a Democrat will be 'what about Trump.'" [sic]

Another user wrote, "I am sure Trump worries about @jimmykimmel and his nano ball energy."
