LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has spoken out in support of President Joe Biden, asserting that he is not receiving the recognition he deserves for his accomplishments in the White House.

Appearing on a recent episode of 'The View', Chelsea Clinton highlighted several key achievements of the Biden administration, particularly focusing on the state of the economy.

Chelsea Clinton advocates for recognizing Biden's economic achievements

In response to a question posed by Alyssa Farah Griffin regarding Biden's strategy to secure victory against Republican frontrunner Donald Trump in crucial battleground states, Clinton emphasized the importance of acknowledging Biden's contributions to the nation.

"The President certainly doesn't get the credit he deserves for where our economy is," Chelsea remarked.

"We have the lowest unemployment in more than 50 years — even from when my dad was in office, who is generally recognized as a very good steward of our economy."

Clinton went on to enumerate other significant achievements under the Biden administration, including an increase in real wages, a reduction in inequality, and forgiving over $130 billion in student loan debt. She also commended Biden for his commitment to protecting women's reproductive rights.

"I think the President made his case so forcefully in the State of the Union, and now it's incumbent on those of us who support him — like me — to do all we can to help people in battleground states, but really everywhere, to know what the stakes are in this election," Clinton stated.

Chelsea Clinton believes Biden has potential for second term

Moreover, Chelsea expressed her belief in Biden's potential for a second term, urging the public to recognize his record of achievement for America and Americans.

However, Chelsea's support is not solely reserved for Biden. She also defended Barron Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump, against invasive media scrutiny.

Responding to comments made by former NBC senior executive Mike Sington suggesting that Barron is "fair game" now that he is 18 years old, Clinton asserted the importance of privacy for private citizens.

"I think he's a private citizen. I feel so strongly that if you are a private citizen, you have an unimpeachable right to privacy. And I think the media should leave him alone," Chelsea emphasized.
