WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump is creating significant headaches for his advisors as they grapple with the fallout from his recent outburst against a major donor.

New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman provided insight into the situation during a CNN interview with Kaitlan Collins on Wednesday, August 14.

Maggie Haberman talks about Donald Trump's 'erratic behavior'

Maggie Haberman remarked, "It's a mess that Trump world would like to not be dealing with," referring to Trump's recent text messages to Miriam Adelson, where he accused her Preserve America PAC of being controlled by "RINOS."

The incident has highlighted his ongoing struggles and volatile reactions to setbacks.

Haberman pointed out that the GOP nominee's anger is increasingly visible, leading to "erratic behavior" observed by those around him during stressful periods.

Despite pleas from his team for him to maintain focus, Trump’s tendency to stray from the message was evident during a campaign stop in Asheville, North Carolina, on Wednesday.

Haberman noted that the former president's running mate, Ohio Senator JD Vance, has been more effective in delivering a consistent message and staying on course.

"He's actually delivering a more coherent message than Trump is about Harris," expressed the NYT reporter, contrasting Vance's performance with Trump's.

While Trump's advisors have encouraged him to concentrate on economic issues — a topic on which he performs well against Harris -- Haberman noted that Trump remains inclined to attack rather than stay on message.

Internet reacts to Maggie Haberman's take on Trump's outburst against megadonor Miriam Adelson

Netizens were quick to share their views on Maggie Haberman's remarks about the struggles of Donald Trump's campaign amid the tensions over his outburst against megadonor Miriam Adelson.

One wrote, "His advisors are just going to have to eventually learn that its always everyone else's fault and never Trump's. He says so."

Another commented "How many companies does he have to lead into bankruptcy before people figure out he's economically incompetent?" and another said, "It will be easier to have her disappear for good when they're back in power."

"The mess that the convicted Felon is trying to clean up is himself, so no chance in hell that's gonna happen," remarked a person, slamming Trump.

One more stated, "Trump wants to use Adelson as a personal piggy bank; even oligarchs start backing off when Trump's hands start rooting around in their pockets."
