Man tramples Charlie Kirk memorial, angry mourners throw him to the ground before cops arrest him

PHOENIX, ARIZONA: A solemn memorial for slain Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk descended into chaos when a teen stormed in and stomped on the vigil, cops said.
Video shows Ryder Corral, 19, leaping onto the flowers, photos, and gifts placed outside TPUSA’s Phoenix, Arizona, headquarters in honor of Kirk, 31, who was fatally shot last week while speaking at Utah Valley University.

Corral trampled through the memorial “about 15 yards,” knocking over “flowers, vases, and flags and balloons,” according to Fox News reporter Matt Finn.
Crowd takes down Ryder Corral after he stomped on Charlie Kirk vigil
Mourners were horrified as Corral stomped through the vigil until one fed-up spectator yanked him off the makeshift shrine and threw him to the ground. Another mourner was even seen kicking the suspect as he lay there, police said.
Law enforcement officers quickly swarmed in, pulling Corral away from the angry crowd before cuffing him and taking him into custody.
Finn posted the footage to X with the caption, “WATCH: Man tramples on Charlie Kirk memorial at TP USA. He is taken to the ground by onlookers and then arrested. He traveled about 15 yards through the memorial, kicked over flowers, vases and flags and balloons, according to our photog.”

Official report outlines how Ryder Corral was tackled, arrested at TPUSA site
Finn also shared the official police report detailing what happened.
“A man is in custody after trespassing onto the grounds of a private business and destroying a community memorial. On September 14, 2025, at approximately 9:50 am, officers were directed to a man who was seen damaging a community memorial in front of a business near 48th Street and Beverly Road. Officers were in the area to assist with traffic control due to a large community presence in the area following recent events," it read.
"The man, later identified as 19-year-old Ryder Corral, was detained by witnesses until he was taken into custody by responding officers. There are no serious injuries to report. Corral will be booked on multiple charges to include criminal damage and disorderly conduct," the report added.

Fox anchor John Scott also aired the arrest video on Fox News. “A man trampled the memorial for Charlie Kirk at the Turning Point headquarters in Phoenix," he told viewers. "This happened not too long ago. Our fotog on the scene says the man kicked over flowers, vases, and balloons. He was taken to the ground by on-looker and then arrested.”
Earlier in the same broadcast, Scott noted there was “digging at the site today, where the infamous white tent was, that Charlie was shot in. Officials tell grass is being laid up and flowers to revive the area. One school official says they are trying to make it beautiful again.”
Ryder Corral’s shirt mirrors outfit of Charlie Kirk’s accused killer
Corral was spotted wearing a black shirt featuring an American flag and bald eagle — eerily similar to the one worn by Kirk’s alleged killer, Tyler Robinson, in police photos from the manhunt. Phoenix PD spokesperson Sgt Philip Krynsky confirmed Corral is facing charges of criminal damage and disorderly conduct.

Meanwhile, Robinson remains in a Utah jail without bail, with prosecutors expected to file formal charges on September 16. Sunday’s spectacle wasn’t the first outbreak of violence following Kirk’s murder.

Just hours after his death, a brawl broke out at the Idaho State Capitol when a man on a bike rolled up to mourners and shouted, “F**k Charlie Kirk!”
Like Corral, the heckler quickly found himself outnumbered and attacked by Kirk’s enraged supporters before police intervened to break it up.
