MANHATTAN, NEW YORK CITY: During a recent interview with Alex Jones, Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed that Democrats desire Trump's demise.

She pointed out that Trump, despite being human and not invincible, is exerting maximum effort in his election campaign.

Democrats push resolution to end Trump's secret service protection amid controversy

Reportedly, Greene emphasized, “You have to remember, he’s trying to run for president again, and he has to put everything he has into defending himself against these rigged trials.”

She added, "They literally want him dead; Billy Thompson introduced a bill to take away his Secret Service protection. They want to lock him up in jail for the rest of his life so he dies in jail."

"And they want to take away his Secret Service protection so that he is murdered somewhere in jail, possibly. This is how serious they are," she claimed.

On April 19, Democrat Rep Bennie Thompson presented a resolution aimed at ending Trump’s Secret Service protection, as per reports.

The resolution is titled the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable Former Protectees Act,” abbreviated as DISGRACED.

Currently, eight Democratic cosponsors are supporting the bill: Jasmine Crockett from Texas, Barbara Lee from California, Frederica Wilson from Florida, Rep Troy Carter from Louisiana, Bonnie Watson Coleman from New Jersey, Joyce Beatty from Ohio, Steve Cohen from Tennessee, and Yvette Clarke from New York.

Social media mocks Marjorie Taylor Greene over her statements

Marjorie Taylor Greene faced a barrage of mockery from netizens on social media, who poked fun at her controversial statements.

One user wrote, "A liar lying to a liar about a third liar." 

Another user said, "Not surprised by this." 

Someone else mocked her, "MTG should be Speaker of the house".

"Sure let’s trust what this “thing” has to say," said one person. 

"And make him a martyr .... I dont think so", one viewer said in disagreement. 

"Not really news. They made music videos about it. Years ago. And they are very open about how much they hate him. Very open about that. It's not really a secret or news, It's kind of a given. Mondays... am I right?" another noted.
