LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga) warned that the Biden administration's push for electronic vehicles might lead to higher fuel prices for Americans, while speaking at a campaign rally for presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump on June 9.

In a clip that went viral on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Congresswoman is seen saying to the crowd, "If you think gas prices are high now, just wait until you are forced to drive an electric vehicle." As the crowd cheers her on, Greene smiling remarks, "America is sick of it."

Promoting the use of electric vehicles is central to President Joe Biden's strategy of tackling global warming. According to The New York Times, the Environmental Protection Agency announced new tailpipe pollution limits back in March, to ensure that the majority of new passenger cars and light trucks sold in the country are all-electric or hybrids by 2032.

Marjorie Taylor Greene compares Donald Trump to Jesus

Greene further drew a comparison between the former President and Jesus Christ while speaking at the Las Vegas rally.

In another viral clip on X, she tells the crowd, "The Democrats and the fake news media want to constantly talk about ‘President Trump is a convicted felon.' Well, you want to know something? The man that I worship is also a convicted felon. And he was murdered on a Roman cross.”

According to Rolling Stone, Greene had made a similar comparison back in April 2023, when Trump was arrested in New York.

"Trump is joining some of the most incredible people in history being arrested today. Nelson Mandela was arrested, served time in prison. Jesus — Jesus was arrested and murdered by the Roman government," she stated at the time.

"There have been many people throughout history that have been arrested and persecuted by radical, corrupt governments, and it’s beginning today in New York City. I just can’t believe it’s happening, but I’ll always support him. He’s done nothing wrong."

Marjorie Taylor Greene gets trolled over her unflinching support to Donald Trump

"If you think the price of beer is high now, just wait until you drink a glass of tap water!" a user wrote on X, mocking MTG's comment on fuel prices and EVs.

"She doesn’t think that’s always her problem," stated another.

"Georgia's 14th district is not sending its best to Congress. People this dumb have no business in Congress," commented a third.

"She’s such a special level of stupid," jibed a fourth user.

"Instead of blonde jokes, just put her name in them instead," chided a fifth.
