Marjorie Taylor Greene rejects claims of calling Trump’s phone daily, cites records as proof
WASHINGTON, DC: The fallout between Marjorie Taylor Greene and the Trump inner circle has descended into a public war of words, with the Georgia congresswoman denying claims that she called the president multiple times.
Greene, who had recently announced her resignation from Congress, took to X on Saturday, November 29, to refute allegations made by Katie Miller, a veteran Trump aide and wife of Stephen Miller.
The dispute highlighted the disintegration of Greene's once-privileged status within the MAGA movement.
Katie Miller claims Marjorie Taylor Greene 'blew up' Trump's phone
Katie Miller: “Just because [Marjorie Taylor Greene] left the party isn't indicative of some larger MAGA revolt and President Trump's grasp on the MAGA movement. The latest flare-up began when Katie Miller, during a CNN interview, dismissed the idea that Greene's exit signaled a broader ideological split within the party.
"Just because [Marjorie Taylor Greene] left the party isn't indicative of some larger MAGA revolt," Miller reportedly said. "She's someone who blew up his phone multiple times a day acting like she was the center of the universe."
The quote painted Greene more like someone who was frozen out by the president for allegedly being too demanding of his time.
Miller added, "President Trump... is the leader of the free world who has a lot more on his plate than returning Marjorie Taylor Greene's calls back every five minutes."
Marjorie Taylor Greene fires back with 'phone records' defense
This is factually untrue.

I did not “blow up” President Trump’s phone routinely multiple times a day.
Never happened!
Phone records will actually prove this.
There are others who could not prove the same. https://t.co/qDqX3jDQYS
Greene wasted no time issuing a denial, labeling the accusation a fabrication.
"This is factually untrue. I did not 'blow up' President Trump’s phone routinely multiple times a day. Never happened!" Greene wrote.
She went a step further, invoking evidence to clear her name while throwing shade at unnamed rivals in Washington.
"Phone records will actually prove this. There are others who could not prove the same," Greene added, suggesting that other figures in Trump's orbit might be guilty of the very behavior she is being accused of.

Despite Greene's denial, her account seemingly clashes with President Trump's own explanation for their fallout.
In a Truth Social post earlier this week, Trump explicitly stated that he had cut off communication with her.
"For some reason, primarily that I refused to return her never ending barrage of phone calls, Marjorie went BAD," Trump wrote.
