CAPITOL HILL, WASHINGTON: In a public address, US representative Marjorie Taylor Greene stated that Merrick Garland, a lawyer and jurist serving as the 86th United States Attorney General, should be impeached.

Greene condemned Congress for not having the courage to impeach Merrick Garland for his alleged involvement in a plot to kill former President Donald Trump.

What did Marjorie Greene say about Merrick Garland?

In a recent video going viral on the internet, Greene was seen saying, "That's the problem. Dan Republicans in Congress don't have a spine because if they did, we would be impeaching Merrick Garland."

She went on to say, "Merrick Garland basically issued a kill order for President Trump."

While talking further she stated that the raid on Mar-a-Lago should not have occurred, as it was not acceptable

"That raid on Mar-a-Lago should have never happened as a standard normal practice. Like they're claiming it's totally ok that they did that," Greene remarked. "It wasn't ok!!"

"Donald Trump is the former President of the United States and the Republican candidate for President this year in 2024. He should have never had his house raided," she claimed.

Adding further details of the raid, she said, "Raided Melania Trump's bedroom, raided Baron Trump's bedroom, raided all of their personal items."

Greene claimed, "They stole President Trump's medical records, his passports and other important personal documents that President Trump had to get back."

Internet demands 'evidence' as MTG claims Merrick Garland planned to kill Trump

After the video went viral where Greene claimed that Garland issued kill orders for Trump and that the former president was raided, the internet started demanding proof.

One wrote, "They spew lies without evidence. She needs to show the evidence. Otherwise, get her off social media for misinformation."

Another user added, "All she does is lie, but very funny she almost called Melania...."Melanie."

A commentator mentioned, "She should be censured… half educated yet speaks as if she is.. sad.."

Another person dubbed Greene as a joker, "A complete joker."

"As a member of Congress, she should be sanctioned for spreading such a dangerous lie," remarked one.

The X user commented, "She's a liar and a crook. Why did she ask for a pardon 3 days after she took office? What did she need one for?"
