Marjorie Taylor Greene trolled for criticizing 'screeching' Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez amid impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden

WASHINGTON, DC: House Republicans voted on December 13 to formalize an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden as their investigation reaches a “critical juncture,” reported CNN.

Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez addressed the impeachment inquiry as the clip made its way through social media platforms, and her remarks were also recognized by Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene, who mocked Ocasio-Cortez for “screeching” about the matter.

Greene also drew a comparison between an impeachment inquiry into Biden and an impeachment inquiry into former President Donald Trump, which was announced by Nancy Pelosi in 2021.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote, “AOC is screeching about how GOP launched an Impeachment Inquiry without a vote but that’s exactly what Nancy Pelosi did with President Trump.”



 

She added, “Democrats hate it when you use their own rules against them!”

In Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks to the media about the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden, she said, “Republicans do not have a case and let’s also remind everybody that this impeachment inquiry by the Republican Party has already begun in a public forum.”



 

She continued, “They launched an impeachment inquiry without a floor vote already and their own witness, their own Republican witness, said that from what he has seen, there are not grounds for an impeachment inquiry, or rather frankly impeachment in general of President Biden.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene faces backlash on social media

After Marjorie Taylor Greene took a dig at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s remarks on the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden and also drew comparisons between the current situation and Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry into Donald Trump, the internet had a lot to say.

One user wrote, “You got no evidence whatsoever. Also, the only person crying fouls daily is you. 🙂”

Another said, “Screeching? Really? Have you heard yourself?”



 



 

“Marjorie is clearly not happy unless she is in a Cat Fight. No matter which side the other cat is on!” wrote one user, and another said, “Nobody screeches better than you. ALL DAY LONG!”



 



 

Greene continued to face backlash on the social media platform as one user wrote, “Screeching?  You're the screeching one, Marge. Hey, Georgia, are you embarrassed yet?  Don't you want a mature, competent representative in Congress, not someone auditioning for ‘Mean Girls 3’?” wrote one user.



 

Another user one X wrote, “All you have EVER done is complain.  Name 1 damn thing you have done for America let alone Georgia.”
