Marquise Glasper: Court files reveal Crystal Lynch's last hours before disappearance and possible death

HOUSTON, TEXAS: Marquise Rochard Glasper, 37, has been accused of murder, tampering with evidence which includes a human corpse, unlicensed possession of a firearm by a felon, and evading arrest, according to Harris County court records.
The charges are in connection to the disappearance of his 35-year-old wife Crystal Lynch on the night of May 6. The body of the mother of two and alleged victim is yet to be discovered.
The court filing in the case has been prepared by the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
Who reported the disappearance of Crystal Lynch?
A day after her disappearance, the 16-year-old daughter of Lynch reported her missing when she failed to pick her up from work at Taco Bell.
The teenager had texted her mother "to let her know that she needed to be picked up from work" around 9 pm that night. She told investigators that “someone responded over text, but that the content of the text messages was different” from Lynch's usual texts.
While her mother “usually texts in full sentences,” the ones she received had "short slang words,” in a manner similar to her stepfather Glasper.
Glasper showed up later that night to pick up the teenager from Taco Bell in Lynch's silver Jeep. He was carrying a gun that the couple shared, with blue grip tape on the handle, in his pocket.
The teenager further found Glasper acting extra kind that night. While the two usually do not share a good relationship and “communicate as little as possible,” Glasper allegedly repeatedly knocked on the girl’s bedroom door to check on her and asked if she was alright that particular night.
A close friend of Lynch was called the following morning to pick up the 16-year-old and her 10-year-old sister.
What did Crystal Lynch's friend reveal about the case?
According to the officials, the friend stated that she and Lynch went out for drinks with two men on the night of May 5, and they ended up having sex with them at a hotel.
Glasper has caught wind of the affair, the friend told investigators, as she later told them details about the night in question. She also said that she received texts from Lynch's phone on the morning and afternoon of May 6, asking about the encounters of the previous night. She felt that those texts were actually from Glasper.
How did Marquise Glasper claim to know about Crystal Lynch's affair?
Glasper allegedly told police that he was informed of his wife's infidelity by her teenage daughter, adding that his primary concern was to get her back.
However, he also admitted the teenager's accusation of hitting Lynch with the pistol after learning she had been unfaithful while he was incarcerated.
What evidence did the investigators discover?
On searching the vehicle on May 20, investigators discovered five separate areas with “possible blood” stains.
The Lynch residence was searched in early August, where officers discovered blood all over.
"Eight possible drips of blood were found in the downstairs living room and a comforter, pillowcase, and sheet with possible blood stains were found in the downstairs laundry room. Two hammers, a hatchet, and a box of 9 mm ammo with three bullets remaining were found in the home and possible bleach stains were visible dripping down the east wall of (Lynch's) bedroom,” read the complaint.
“Possible blood-soaked underwear was found on (Lynch’s) bedroom floor and two pillows with possible blood spatter were found in (her) bedroom as well. A possible blood stain was found on the mattress. A possible blood stain was found on the box spring. A possible blood stain was found on the side of the headboard. Possible blood spatter was observed on plastic bins in the master bedroom. Possible blood spatter was observed on the east wall of the bedroom and on the ceiling,” it continues.
Investigators also claim to have found what appeared to be bullet fragments, at least one of which had hair on it.
“Possible blood was found under the baseboard surrounding the area where the projectile was removed. Possible blood was also found under the floorboards where it appears to have seeped in between the cracks in the floor and possible blood was observed on the floorboards under the bed, measuring an area of approximately eight feet long and three feet wide.”
Officials found a “blank Final Decree of Divorce form” and several pieces of her identification on the alleged victim's bedside table.
What is Marquise Glasper's version of the events that night?
Glasper claimed to have seen Lynch on the night of her disappearance after she had dropped off her daughter at Taco Bell. He left to go get cigars after she got home and received a text about picking the teenager up because Lynch was going out “with her friend again,” he alleged.
Law enforcement stated that the timeline provided by Glasper fails to account for roughly two to three hours (between 10:22 pm and around midnight when the girl was finally retrieved from Taco Bell) on the night Lynch disappeared.
Glasper said that he was trying to get some marijuana at the time, and as for the blood stains in the car, stated that Lynch was on her period and that they had sex in the vehicle.
