LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mary Trump, the estranged niece of Donald Trump, has accused her uncle of escalating his use of 'hate speech' as a strategy to increase campaign donations.

Speaking on her YouTube show 'Nerd Avengers', Mary, a vocal critic of the former president, highlighted a recent instance where Trump reportedly made controversial remarks about migrants.

Controversy erupts over Trump's proposal for migrant fighters league

During the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to Majority policy conference in Washington, DC, Trump allegedly suggested creating a league of migrant fighters, jokingly speculating that they might outperform other fighters.

In the clip, the former president tells the crowd that he recently spoke with UFC President Dana White and suggested that White 'set up a migrant league of fighters' in which the champion would fight the champion of the 'regular league of fighters'.

"I think the migrant guy might win, that's how tough they are. It's not the worst idea I've ever had," Trump is heard saying.

This comment, dismissed by UFC President Dana White as a joke, sparked backlash and prompted a response from President Joe Biden's campaign, which criticized Trump for his remarks.

Backlash and Biden campaign response to Trump's remarks

Trump's comments drew outrage from his critics and even prompted a message from President Joe Biden's campaign, which said that Trump made the comments in a "rambling, confused tirade."

Mary Trump condemned her uncle's rhetoric, describing it as "inflammatory" and labeling it outright "hate speech." She pointed out that such provocative language has historically resonated with Trump's supporters, contributing significantly to his fundraising efforts.

"We're seeing this trend where he's really ramping up his inflammatory messages," Trump said. "I'm just going to call it what it is—it's hate speech. He's ramping up his hate speech in order to get more campaign cash, and it's working."

Mary Trump concerned over impact of Trump's provocative statements

Mary emphasized that despite the predictability of her uncle's provocative statements, their impact remains troubling, particularly given the support he commands within certain institutions.

Mary said her uncle has gone from saying 'hideous' things about immigrants being criminals, drug addicts and drug dealers to "this point where now, apparently, he wants to put them in MMA fights or cage matches."

"It's really quite alarming," the former president's niece said. "Even though we should be surprised by nothing, it's still a little bit shocking."

Mary Trump's critique coincides with recent financial disclosures from the Federal Election Commission, which reveal that Trump's campaign and the Republican National Committee have surpassed fundraising efforts compared to President Biden and the Democratic National Committee in recent months.
