Meghan McCain says she'll reveal her dad's true views on Harris as she slams Dems for misusing his memory
WASHINGTON, DC: Meghan McCain warned she would reveal what her late father, Sen John McCain, really thought about Kamala Harris in light of the vice president recently sharing an anecdote about the Republican.
The television personality voiced her outrage on X (formerly Twitter), arguing Democrats bastardized the late lawmaker's memory for political benefits.
"Now, I know democrats want to reinvent history and turn my Dad into any illusion you guys need him to be depending on the political moment you need to bastardize his memory for…" Meghan wrote.
"But please don’t make me start sharing what I remember him ACTUALLY saying about Kamala Harris…."

Meghan McCain gives ultimatum to Democrats after Harris speaks about 'American hero' John McCain
In a separate post on X, Meghan threatened that it would be her final warning and that she would "start spilling tea."
And consider this my final warning shot, I will start spilling tea.

During a recent campaign rally in Scottsdale, Arizona, Harris shared an interaction she had with the late senator in 2018 before he succumbed to a brain tumor, as per the New York Post.
The vice president said that while she passed by John, he looked at her and said, "Kid, come over here. You’re going to make a great senator." Harris emphasized the incident was a "true story."
Admitting she and John were not in agreement on all things, Harris praised him as an "incredible American hero," suggesting he depicted strength.
"We know what the former president said about John McCain – I'm not going to repeat it here – but strength," she added.

The vice president's reference was to former President Donald Trump's disparaging remarks about Sen McCain's service in the Vietnam War. The real estate mogul in 2015 said that the congressman was "only a war hero because he got captured."
The senator later voted against Trump's attempt to revoke Obamacare.
Unlike Meghan, who refused to endorse Harris despite her opposition to Trump, Sen McCain's son, Jimmy McCain, declared last month he would vote for the Democratic ticket in November.
Internet slams Meghan McCain for threatening to reveal her father's honest views about Kamala Harris
Meghan's warning against Democrats who invoked her late father for political gains, threatening to disclose Sen McCain's real views about Harris sparked outrage online. Netizens claimed that 'The View' co-host was degrading herself and tarnishing her father's legacy.
"Meghan, Once again, you’ve managed to find a way to devalue and degrade yourself, which is surprising, given your prior and enthusiastic efforts to reach new lows. I’d have thought you’d hit bottom by now, yet you continue to descend to new depths. Congratulations," a user wrote.
"Good thing you have such little credibility these days few people would believe you anyway," another remarked.

"Why is it that you feel like you have this need for people to hate you. Seriously, it’s like you can’t take yes for an answer and thrive on hostility and conflict. As much as you say you can’t stand Trump, you’re just like him," added a third user.
"This pettiness is an insult to your father more than anyone as grateful Americans invoke his memory for noble purposes that he himself would support. Besides you are not the gatekeeper of his public service memories. Get over yourself," read a fourth response.
"You prefer a man disparaging your dad's memory constantly to a woman speaking fondly of your father? I'm quite confused how a child would be angry when someone tells an uplifting story about their dead father because the "wrong person" told the story. Very petty," another user chimed in.

"Why does she try and tarnish her father’s legacy at each and every turn lmao," an individual said.
"You’re such an embarrassment," read one remark.
"If you are upset that people are praising your late father and telling cute stories about him because of their politics you might need to step away from the news. Maybe try crochet or skeet shooting without a phone for a while," one person wrote.
