NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly slammed Taylor Swift following the singer's public endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

On a special episode of 'The Megyn Kelly Show' aired on Tuesday, September 10, Kelly, known for her outspoken commentary, did not hold back as she expressed her disapproval of Taylor Swift's political stance.

Megyn Kelly says 'kiss your sales goodbye, Taylor'

Megyn Kelly began her critique by referencing a social media post where the 'Love Story' singer shared a photo of herself with her cat, alongside her endorsement of Kamala Harris.

"You can kiss your sales to the Republican audience goodbye, Taylor. Hope you enjoyed them while you had them," Kelly said, emphasizing her belief that Swift's endorsement could alienate her Republican fans, according to the New York Post.

Megyn Kelly's criticism of Tim Walz

Megyn Kelly's criticism extended beyond Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris as she delved into policy matters concerning Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.

She accused the Minnesota governor of supporting measures that would allow courts to take custody of children from parents who oppose their children's gender transition surgeries, a statement that Kelly linked to Swift’s endorsement.

"That's what led Taylor Swift to endorse him," claimed Kelly.

"To say the reason she's doing it is because of Tim Walz's stance on LGBTQ. Eff you, Taylor Swift," she added.

She accused the 'Karma' singer of not caring about the consequences of such policies, suggesting that celebrities like Swift would retreat to their luxurious lives without considering the impact of their political endorsements.

Megyn Kelly drags Travis Kelce into the discussion

Megyn Kelly also dragged Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, into the discussion.

She labeled the couple as "the epitome of elite snobs" and criticized the NFL player for his involvement in promoting Covid-19 vaccinations.

"She doesn't care what happens to these kids, just like he doesn't give a s**t what happens to all the young men who take that Pfizer booster he's been pushing on them," asserted Kelly.

After Kelly criticized Swift's Harris endorsement, netizens slammed the media personality.

One user on X wrote, "Megyn Kelly is simply disgruntled or frustrated because Taylor Swift has had a level of success far beyond anything she could ever achieve."

"Loving the ocean of tears from republicans today keep them coming," a netizen commented, and another tweeted, "Like anyone takes Megyn Kelly’s opinion seriously."

"So angry. So bitter. Such a joke," an individual opined, while someone else remarked, "Taylor Swift is successful. Megyn Kelly isn't."
