Hill's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stated that the player was cited for reckless driving and driving without a license. In the bodycam footage, Hill can be heard telling the officers, "Take me to jail, brother. Do what you have to do."

The police then dragged him out of his car and pinned him to the ground, with one officer telling him, "When we tell you to do something, you do it. You understand? Not what you want, what we tell you. You're a little f***ing confused."

It was said the Hill rolling window back was the reason police got agitated leading to his arrest.

Many fans and social media users sided with Ana Navarro, criticizing the way the police handled the situation with Hill.

One Instagram user commented, "The police officers escalated the situation and blew it out of control."

Another wrote, "Imagine their other victims! Tyreek was smart and called Drew and kept the phone on speaker. These guys need to be fired."

Another person pointed out that rolling up the window after handing over a license and registration "isn't a free pass to manhandle someone."

They added, "Police officers are held to a higher standard and in turn given greater authority than the average person. This abuse of power is notable, especially because of who it happened to."
