LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Megyn Kelly on Monday, August 26, brutally bashed a  Washington Post column by Catherine Rampell that called Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff a “modern-day sex symbol.”

The former Fox News host did not hold back as she called the article “absolutely disgusting” on SiriusXM’s 'The Megyn Kelly Show'.

Megyn Kelly criticized Catherine Rampell’s piece, noting, “This is very interesting. It’s by Catherine Rampell of The Washington Post. The piece is, ‘Doug Emhoff, Modern Day Sex Symbol.’”

She also referred to Rampell’s previous critical piece about Kamala Harris’s economic policies, stating, “You know who Catherine Rampell is? That name may ring a bell because she’s the one who wrote the piece ripping Kamala’s economic plan to shreds on the price gouging, saying, ‘This is ridiculous when they’re accusing you of being a communist, maybe don’t propose communism as your economic plan,’ and she got killed by her readers on the left.”

Kelly continued to express her disapproval of Rampell’s latest article by highlighting Emhoff’s controversial personal history. She claimed, “So, a week later, she writes this drivel, trying to rehabilitate herself on the left, about the current second gentleman, a man who may I remind you cheated on his first wife with the nanny whom he impregnated. They either aborted the child or he abandoned the child. Either way, no bueno.”

Megyn Kelly read an excerpt from Catherine Rampell’s article, which described Doug Emhoff as a “Progressive Sex Symbol,” “the modern female fantasy,” a “hunk,” and “a high-achieving alpha.”

Reacting to these descriptions, Kelly stated, “The media is absolutely disgusting.” The article, which went viral last week, has been widely criticized, particularly by conservatives in cable news and on social media.

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade reacted strongly to Kelly's remarks, saying, “Emhoff is a sex symbol? I mean, this goes beyond reproach.”

Fox Business senior correspondent Charles Gasparino also weighed in, tweeting, “Translation: It’s so hot to knock up the nanny and pay for her abortion.”

Social media users took to the comments section of the Mediaite article to express their views on Megyn Kelly's criticism of Catherine Rampell’s article on Doug Emhoff.

One social media user wrote, "Megyn Kelly looked the other way while women were being abused at Fox News. Disgusting."

Another said, "Maybe she was abused but liked it."

One person replied, "She thinks he's disgusting because he is Jewish."

Another added, "Keep lying."

One individual commented, "Oh NOEZ! Somebody wrote an article Megyn didn't like!"

"Is she ever a positive person?" asked another.
