NEW YORK, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly didn’t mince words when discussing former Vice President Kamala Harris' 2024 campaign, calling her out over her "arrogant" behavior during a recent episode of ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’.

In a candid conversation with Sean O’Brien, president of the Teamsters Union, Kelly explored the union’s experience engaging with presidential candidates during the 2024 race.

According to O’Brien, the Democratic ticket and Harris in particular did not handle the process well, reports OK! Magazine.

Teamsters Union President Sean O'Brien recalls Kamala Harris' 'arrogant' attitude

Sean O’Brien explained that when the union reached out to candidates to request interviews, Donald Trump’s team responded promptly and cooperatively. Then-President Joe Biden’s team, however, apparently proved “very difficult,” and the situation deteriorated further when it came to Kamala Harris.

O’Brien said that Harris' team made it clear that she’d only answer “a certain amount of questions, and halfway through, I got a note slipped to me saying, ‘This will be the last question.’”

“She only answered four questions,” the president of the Teamsters Union said of their interaction with Harris. “It was a typical attitude of, ‘I'm going to be president of the United States.’”

He also recalled Harris leaving the meeting with a parting comment that rubbed members the wrong way. “And she said on the way out, after she gave her closing statement to us, ‘I'm gonna win, with you or without you,’” he shared.

“That was pretty arrogant,” O’Brien noted. “It didn’t sit well with our members.”

Megyn Kelly slams Kamala Harris for ‘stupid politics’

Megyn Kelly took issue with Kamala Harris’ tone and approach, calling it a serious political misstep.

“Why do you think she was so arrogant? That’s just stupid politics. That’s the kind of thing you say to your husband after you leave a contentious meeting, not to the people whose support you're asking for," the journalist said.

O’Brien agreed, arguing that the Democratic Party suffered from overconfidence. “I just think it's the attitude of the party,” he said bluntly, adding, “The arrogance was the downfall. They talked to people like we were school children. And she's just not a good candidate.”

Their discussion also touched on broader frustrations within the party, particularly surrounding Biden’s fitness for office. Rumors about the former president's declining health were addressed head-on, with O’Brien expressing regret over how the situation was handled.

“They did him a disservice,” he said, referring to Biden being urged to stay in the race. “You could tell he was deteriorating. And I used to tell people all the time, it kind of looks like elderly abuse."

"I think he got bad advice, and the Democrats are in this position, finger-pointing instead of taking a look in the mirror and saying, ‘We're responsible for what we don't agree with in this country. Let's stop blaming everybody, and let's blame ourselves for not having a strategic plan and/or a vision to what they thought this country needed,'" O'Brien expressed.

The lifelong Democrat called on party leaders to accept responsibility for the current political climate.

“Look, I'm a Democrat. There's no running from that. I grew up in the great city of Boston… But we've got to call balls and strikes,” he said, adding, “The candidates that they put forward after Joe Biden pulled out certainly is not the answer for this country.”
