Melania Trump had one condition to attend husband Donald’s 2024 election night soiree, new book claims

WASHINGTON, DC: A new book by bestselling author Michael Wolff reveals that Melania Trump allegedly had one specific condition before agreeing to attend her husband’s election night celebration.
In 'All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America', Wolff shares that a close confidant of the Trump family informed him that Melania “sent word that she would not appear with [Trump] unless it was an outright win".
The condition was met, and Melania joined Donald Trump on stage to celebrate his victory, marking her return as first lady.

Book claims alleged tension in Melania Trump and Donald Trump's marriage
Michael Wolff's book, set to release on February 25, sheds light on the alleged complex and strained relationship between Melania Trump and her husband, Donald Trump, especially as numerous scandals rocked his political career, Irish Star reported.
According to Wolff, Melania is allegedly not too fond of her far-right Republican husband, who has constantly placed her and their son, Barron, in the public eye despite her apparent reluctance.

A person whom Wolff describes as a "Mar-a-Lago patio confidant", allegedly told the author, “She **king hates him.”
This source further claimed that they were “bewildered that this needed saying", referencing the many signs of Melania’s disdain for her husband, including her notable absences from campaign events last year.

Wolff goes on to discuss how the campaign staff often struggled to convince Melania to attend events with Trump to show her support.
“Nice try,” she reportedly told campaign staff who attempted to get her to appear with Trump during his first indictment in New York.
Book points out Melania Trump’s absence from key events
Throughout Donald Trump’s political career, Melania Trump was often absent from key moments, leading many to speculate about the state of their marriage.
Wolff writes that Trump’s own staff didn’t even know where Melania was living, highlighting the distance between the couple.
One example is her refusal to give a planned “showstopper” speech at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July 2024.

She attended only on the last day of the event, joining her husband on stage after his acceptance speech — one of the first public appearances they made together in 18 months.
Melania also failed to appear by Trump’s side after he was nearly assassinated on July 13, 2024, during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Trump was shot in the ear during the event, but Melania did not join him when he returned to the scene in October of that year.
Even when it came to his victory party after the election, she was firm in her stance that she would not be attending unless he "outright" won.
Thought neither the Trump campaign nor Trump himself has publicly acknowledged rumored tensions in the marriage, Wolff claims in his book, "Even if by every standard indication, it was breaking down, and doing so in public."

Wolff adds, “Even in the ever-downward spiral of diminishing expectations, every day was ‘will she, won’t she?’”
Melania’s absence from key events and her unwillingness to be publicly associated with Trump continues to raise eyebrows.
