PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: If there’s one thing Melania Trump is not doing, it’s letting bygones be bygones when it comes to the Obamas.

Her apparent grudge has once again taken center stage, thanks to a few shady remarks she dropped during a recent chat with Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt, Nicki Swift reported.

Did Melania Trump shade the Obamas?

While discussing what the transition to a potential second White House stint with Donald Trump might look like, Melania couldn’t resist taking a swipe at the former first couple.

Reflecting on her 2017 move to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, she commented: "I know where I'm going. I know the rooms. Where we will be living. I know the process. The first time was challenging...The information was upheld for us from [the] previous administration. But this time, I have everything."

Critics immediately clocked that her dig was squarely aimed at Barack and Michelle Obama.

Michelle Obama, despite having every reason to hold a grudge herself (ahem, birther conspiracy) still hosted Melania for tea at the White House during the 2016 transition. This little tradition usually includes a walkthrough of the residence, a gesture of goodwill to help the incoming first lady settle in.

But apparently, tea and a tour didn’t quite cut it for Melania.

Melania skipped this very courtesy when it was her turn to welcome Dr Jill Biden in 2020. And she also reportedly snubbed Jill’s invitation this time around.

Melania Trump slammed on social media for her comments

Critics on social media weren't having Melania’s complaints about being “left in the dark” by the Obamas, especially when she opted out of helping the Bidens.

"How the f**k is it on the obamas to give you a full tour of the place and how is finding rooms 'challenging'?! what a moron," one posted on X (formerly Twitter).

"The same woman that refused to invite Dr. Jill Biden to tea for her to transition the WH to the incoming administration," another noted.

"It’s almost like she was referring to them as 'the help didn’t show us where everything was,'" a third user fumed.

"How can you not know where all the freaking rooms are in the White House when there are staff whose job it is to orient you to the place? Or were you too busy hanging out in NYC, avoiding it? The plan needed was the pandemic plan, and we see how that went," someone else chimed in.

"And I’m sure there was no White House staff available to give her the tour…I mean, not like they lived there and took care of every inch of the place. Geez, these people…shame on us for giving them the privilege a second time," a comment read.

"She refused to move in for 6 months last time. Don't tell me she was studying WH schematics to figure out the layout. She hated being there," another insisted.

This isn’t the first time Melania has complained about the Obamas and her early White House days. She even brought it up in her memoir Melania, where she detailed the “challenging” move. For those who don’t remember, Melania and Barron didn’t move into the executive mansion until June 2017, months after Donald had already made himself at home.

Fast forward to today, and it seems like she might be a bit more ready for a second go—though there’s one little hiccup. According to Melania, Barron Trump has zero interest in living at the White House during his dad’s second term.
