Mia Farrow spins conspiracy Donald Trump may start a war to get third term: 'I fear he wont leave'
NEW YORK, NEW YORK: Actress Mia Farrow raised eyebrows on social media on Sunday, February 2, making bold claims about President Donald Trump’s potential intentions for the future.
Farrow, who has frequently voiced her political opinions, posted a warning to her followers, suggesting that Trump, alongside his "motley band of toadies," could attempt to “start a war” in an effort to secure a third term in office.
Mia Farrow fears Donald Trump will 'change the Constitution'
In her post on the social media platform Bluesky, Mia Farrow wrote, "People find comfort in the belief that Trump & his motley band of toadies will be gone in 4 years. But I fear he wont leave. I fear he will try to change the Constitution- or ignore it- or start a war maybe w China in the belief that wartime will grant him a third term."
Although Farrow did not provide any direct evidence to support her assertions, she framed her comments as a cautionary message to the public, expressing deep concern over Trump’s political trajectory, Breitbart reported.
This is far from the first time Farrow has delved into political commentary. Her comments about Trump have often stirred controversy. Following Trump’s election in 2024, the actress did not hold back her disdain.
She made several dubious claims in a post in January 2025, as she wrote, "A convicted felon who assaulted women, did all he could to overthrow our 2020 elections, lied that he had won, stole our counties nuclear secrets, lied about that & showed them to foreign billionaires. Nothing to celebrate. Its sickening."
Mia Farrow criticizes Donald Trump’s Covid-19 response
In 2020, Mia Farrow reportedly continued her outspoken criticism, comparing a crowd gathered for Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention to the tragic events of Jonestown in 1978.
"This crown, packed together abd [sic] no masks brings to mind Jonestown – an adoring cult waiting for Jim Jones to appear," she allegedly wrote on X and later deleted, referencing the mass suicide orchestrated by cult leader Jim Jones that resulted in over 900 deaths.
In a post on X that was later deleted, Farrow purportedly took aim at Trump’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, claiming that the nation’s death toll could have been avoided under different leadership. “180,000 people didn’t have to die,” Farrow wrote.
She added, “The virus didn’t have to spread across the nation- out of control. 80% of American coronavirus deaths could have been prevented by strong, clear leadership.” She did not elaborate on the specifics of how the situation could have been better managed under a different administration.

Another added, "He won’t leave. He’ll either change or ignore the constitution. And yes, he’ll blame it on some bulls**it excuse the way he did four years ago when he lost. We need to prepare for this. We need to win back the house and senate for starters. But we need real leaders right now to lead the fight."

One commentator remarked, "I fear the same"
"He refused to leave the first time and there was blood shed. I fear it will be much bigger come 2028, if the country survives that long. If they make it legal for a third term, well, time for Obama to come back and save us again," said a supporter of Farrow.
