What is Michael Cohen's 'The Fixer' about?

'The Fixer' concept, a nod to Cohen's time working as the former president's aggressive attorney would see him tackling problematic business scenarios that need “fixing,” according to sources.

“I fixed [Trump’s] problems both professional and personal, gaining power, wealth and notoriety for myself in the process. And I paid the price for it,” the disgraced lawyer begins in the teaser.

Cohen, who previously served as vice president for the Trump Organization, will testify on Monday, May 13, in the hush money trial.

Judge Juan Merchan scheduled Trump's criminal trial to begin on April 15, which would make it the first criminal prosecution of a former American president. Trump was charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records last year, which prosecutors say was an effort to hide a potential sex scandal, both before and after the 2016 election. Cohen, who faced a three-year prison sentence in 2018 after he pleaded guilty to tax evasion and violating campaign finance laws, said that he now positions himself as a figure on the path of redemption.

“Since then, I’ve been on a journey of redemption, working to set things right with my family, my friends, my country, speaking truth to power and calling it like I see it,” said the former attorney.

“Now I’m paying it forward, wielding the tools that I’ve learned for regular people in trouble," he continued.

"I’ll work with you, offering expertise, advice, and solutions to fix your problems. Together we will change your life” said Cohen, adding, “I am your fixer.”
