Michael Knowles rebukes Harry Sisson for saying Renee Good’s SUV contact with ICE agent a ‘bump’
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Conservative commentator Michael Knowles and liberal social media personality Harry Sisson had an on-air clash over the fatal shooting of Renee Good.
The argument erupted during a recent debate on the PBD Podcast hosted by Patrick Bet-David, where the pair locked horns over the circumstances surrounding the January 7 shooting.
Debate over ICE agent–Renee Good interaction
The exchange gained traction after Knowles posted a clip of the debate to X.
At the center of the clash was Sisson’s claim that Good was “murdered” by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer.
Knowles wasted little time challenging that description.
“You just said, Harry, that Renee Good was murdered by an ICE officer. Do you not think being hit by an SUV is justification for using deadly force?” he asked.
Knowles cited body camera footage and witness reports that documented the moment Good’s vehicle made contact with an agent.
Sisson pushed back, arguing that video evidence suggested the incident was far less severe than Knowles portrayed.
“If you're looking at the footage frame-by-frame... her SUV bumped the officer, which still does not justify [deadly force],” he responded.

Knowles, however, repeatedly steered the conversation back to the fundamental question of physical contact between Good and the officer.
“Did Renee Good hit the officer with her SUV? Yes or no,” he pressed.
Sisson again described the collision as minor and that it amounted to a “bump." He asked, “If I tapped on your shoulder right now, can you shoot me in the face?”
Knowles fired back, “If you tapped me with your SUV, I probably would.”
New talking point on Renee Good just dropped: she “bumped” the officer (with her 3,000-lb. SUV).

Inside the fatal Minneapolis encounter
Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three from Minneapolis, was shot and killed on January 7 during a massive immigration enforcement operation in south Minneapolis.
The raid involved approximately 2,000 federal agents and was described by the Department of Homeland Security as the “largest immigration operation ever.”
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said agents had been working to push a vehicle out of heavy snow when protesters gathered at the scene, including Good. Officials said she blocked officers using her SUV and refused orders to exit the vehicle.
According to DHS officials, Good escalated the situation when she allegedly used her vehicle as a weapon. Authorities claimed she “weaponized her vehicle” and attempted to strike agents in what they characterized as an “act of domestic terrorism.”
Video footage from the encounter reportedly shows multiple ICE agents surrounding Good’s vehicle after it came to a stop in the roadway. Authorities said that as Good attempted to drive away, she struck ICE deportation officer Jonathan Ross.

Ross then fired at least three shots into the vehicle, one of which hit Good in the head. Her SUV subsequently crashed into a parked vehicle and a nearby light post. She was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
