Michael Williams: Texas man charged in fatal shooting of 25-year-old victim in North Richland Hills

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS: A 25-year-old Tarrant County man has been charged in connection with a shooting that left another man dead in North Richland Hills on Friday, February 2, afternoon.
Michael J Williams is charged with murder in the shooting death of a 25-year-old man, according to the North Richland Hills Police Department, per NBC.
What did Michael J Williams do?
According to North Richland Hills Police Communications Center, they received a call for a shooting in the 6700 block of Buenos Aires Dr around 2.30 pm on Friday.
Following the event, police said they were able to swiftly arrive at the location and apprehend the alleged gunman. At the scene of the shooting, police took North Richland Hills resident Michael J Williams, 25, into custody.
However, the victim, a 25-year-old male, whose name has not been revealed by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner, did not survive the shooting as per police.

Williams is currently held on a $200,000 bond at the Tarrant County Jail, charged with murder.
Although the facts surrounding the incident are still being looked into, authorities stated that there is no threat to the public. Once the victim's next of kin has been informed, the name of the deceased will be made public by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office.
Back in 2023, a 16-year-old boy was the victim of an apparent road rage incident in North Richland Hills when he cut off a driver in a dark SUV, as reported at the time by Fox News. The SUV driver then tailgated the car and fired three to five shots at the teenager.
The boy was rushed to a hospital and recovered from the shooting.
