WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga) unloaded on both Republicans and Democrats, saying Americans are increasingly fed up with the nation's two-party system and that "literally everyone" she speaks with dislikes politics these days.

Greene made the remarks in a series of posts on X, accusing both major political parties of failing to deliver on their promises.

The Georgia Republican argued that Democrats have not changed course following past policy failures, while Republicans have broken many of the commitments they made to voters.

In one of her posts, Greene criticized Democrats over immigration, transgender issues, and identity politics.

“Democrats haven’t come up with any new policies since their epic failures while they supported wide opens deadly borders, trans beating women, and nonstop nauseating identity woke politics.”

She then turned her criticism toward her own party. "And Republicans have betrayed pretty much every campaign promise, waging foreign wars and destroying the economy with rising inflation and high gas prices."

Greene also accused both parties of contributing to the nation's growing debt and failing to address major economic concerns facing Americans.

"Both parties have enslaved Americans in nearly $40T in debt, robbed Social Security to the point it will be insolvent in 2032, and have refused to fix REAL PROBLEMS like overpriced unaffordable insurance," she wrote.

“Literally everyone I’m talking to hates politics right now and hates BOTH parties.” The congresswoman concluded the post by arguing that voters have grown disillusioned with Washington.

"The only way to defeat the Washington machine is to stop supporting it." "It literally doesn’t matter anymore." "They are both the same."

Marjorie Taylor Greene says she's 'too honest' for GOP

In a separate post, Greene addressed Americans who are dissatisfied with both political parties. “Good morning Independent Americans who are fed up with the two party America Last failed system!!”

She followed that message with another describing how she views her own political identity. "I’m way too conservative to be a Democrat and too honest and free thinking to be a Republican."

"But I’m 1000% a proud American!!!"

Greene, a close ally of President Donald Trump in Congress, has criticized Republican leaders on a range of issues, from foreign policy and federal spending to bipartisan legislation.

Her latest comments come as lawmakers continue to debate government spending, the national debt, and other legislative priorities ahead of the midterm election season.

Although Greene remains a Republican member of the House, her posts reflected growing frustration with both parties and what she described as a political system that no longer serves ordinary Americans.
