CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA: Nancy Mace just shared a holiday photo that has everyone talking. Her latest X (formerly Twitter) post hinted at a surprise, leaving people guessing even though she didn’t say anything directly. In the image, the MAGA congresswoman appeared to be showing a baby bump, prompting a wave of speculation about whether she could be pregnant.

Social media lit up almost immediately with curiosity, congratulations, and jokes. As a mother of two, Mace received plenty of warm messages, but others focused on the mystery behind the photo and the identity of a potential father. So far, she has not responded to any of the questions or rumors circulating online.

Nancy Mace sparks pregnancy speculation with holiday X post

Mace stirred speculation with a Christmas photo she shared on Instagram on Saturday, November 6. At first glance, it seemed like a simple holiday snapshot, but the image drew thousands of comments congratulating her. The picture has already racked up more than 3.2 million views.

“Season’s Greetings,” Mace wrote in the caption. The photo showed her standing in front of a Christmas tree, wearing a brown dress and resting her left hand near her stomach. Although it looked like an innocent holiday moment, many viewers wondered whether she was using the photo to hint at a pregnancy.

The top comment came from MAGA account Noah Christopher, who directly asked, “Are you pregnant?”

Journalist Kristi Leigh also weighed in, suggesting, “Cropping could save you from creating confusion,” implying that the framing of the image made the speculation inevitable.

Another MAGA user, Corinne Clark Barron, took a more humorous approach, joking that if Mace was not pregnant and had simply edited the photo to spark discussion before delivering a “never comment on women’s bodies” message, she would “die of laughing.”

Others kept their comments short and blunt. One user asked, “Who’s the father?”

Another added, “When’s the due date? Congrats!”

Someone else wrote, “Beautiful, but are you trying to tell us something?”

Amid the pregnancy speculation, Mace was also forced to address a separate rumor claiming she planned to resign from Congress. She firmly denied the claim after a New York Times report suggested she was considering stepping down over frustration with House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Times reporter Annie Karni reported that Mace had told people she was “so frustrated with (Johnson) and sick of the way he has run the House – particularly how women are treated there” that she planned to speak with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene about following her lead in retiring early.

Mace pushed back on the report, insisting she had no plans to leave Congress.
