WASHINGTON, DC: Nancy Pelosi snapped at CNN anchor Jake Tapper for covering one of Donald Trump's latest baseless claims about Kamala Harris.

The Speaker Emerita appeared on the Tuesday, September 24, episode of 'The Lead', where Tapper brought up the topic of the media coverage of Joe Biden’s alleged cognitive problems, as per The Daily Beast.

Nancy Pelosi doesn't want to talk about the silliness of Donald Trump's remarks

Jake Tapper said, "I’m sure that you hear from progressive voters, Democratic voters who say — as I hear from them on social media —[that] the media made such a big deal out of Joe Biden’s alleged cognitive problems, [and so] why don’t they talk about Donald Trump’s cognitive problems?"

"Well, Donald Trump talked about that just a second ago, and I want to get your reaction," remarked the CNN host before playing a video of Trump attacking Harris at a recent rally in Savannah, Georgia.

In the clip, the former president was heard saying, "They laugh at us, all over the world they’re laughing at us. And you know what they’re really laughing at? Kamala."

Trump continued, "They can’t believe that she’s going to be president. They can’t believe. You talk about cognitive problems? She’s got bigger cognitive problems than he [Biden] has, in my opinion."

Pelosi could not control herself as she rebuked Tapper, saying, "Why would you even cover that? This is a person who’s not on the level. He is their nominee for president, he is incompetent."

"Let’s not even talk about the silliness of it all, and the weirdness of it all, and the assault on women that it is. We’re not going to talk issues — incompetent," added the 84-year-old.
