WASHINGTON, DC: Newly released emails from the Jeffrey Epstein archive include a striking claim, stating that former President Bill Clinton “was never on the island.”
According to a March 2011 email, Epstein addressed rumors about his connections to prominent figures, explicitly denying that Clinton ever visited his Caribbean estate.
The disclosure comes amid the broader release of more than 20,000 pages of Epstein-related documents.
Epstein’s email about Bill Clinton and Al Gore
In the March 2011 email, Epstein wrote to a redacted recipient addressed as “The Duke,” stating: “Clinton was never on the island.”
He added that he “never met” and does not know former Vice President Al Gore. In the same message, Epstein opened by asking, “you ok? these stories are complete ant utter fantasy.” The email was part of the massive trove of files released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, November 12, as part of the public release of Epstein-related documents.
Earlier that same day, Democrats had released emails in which Epstein said that Donald Trump “spent a few hours” at his house, referring to him as the “dog that hasn’t barked.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Wednesday that Jeffrey Epstein's emails referring to President Trump as the "dog that hasn't barked" prove Trump "did nothing wrong." https://t.co/foijYxWsZY pic.twitter.com/zDafqxpRvS

The newly released email regarding Clinton stands out because of long-running speculation about Epstein’s relationship with Clinton and others.
Epstein archives expose Bill Clinton denial and Trump remark
Epstein’s denial comes against a backdrop of intense public interest in his connections with high-profile individuals.
He notably had a painting of Bill Clinton wearing a blue dress and high heels displayed in his New York City penthouse. Clinton’s spokesperson stated in 2019 that the former president had flown on Epstein’s private plane four times shortly after leaving office in early 2001, but denied that Clinton ever traveled to Epstein’s Caribbean estate, Little St James Island, or any of his other properties.

The spokesperson, Angel Urena, said, “He’s not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St James Island, Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida.”
In related news, Epstein’s former defense attorney Alan Dershowitz told television host Piers Morgan that he wants to release “important” files on Epstein but is being blocked by judges from doing so.
Dershowitz recalled a conversation he had with Epstein during his legal representation, explaining that he approached him with a proposal aimed at negotiating a lighter sentence.
He said he asked, “Can you name people who may have had physical relationships with anybody? If we can turn those people over to the government, we can maybe get you a better deal.”
According to Dershowitz, he then began listing several names in hopes of finding information that might assist Epstein’s case. “And then I went through a variety of names, including Donald Trump,” he said.
Epstein’s response, however, was firm. Dershowitz recounted that he replied, “No, Trump didn’t do anything wrong. I can’t say anything about him that would be helpful to the government, even if the government wanted to get him.”
