SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA: At a press conference on Monday, November 3, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom, delivered a critique of President Donald Trump.

Speaking on behalf of her family, she declared that her children will “never consider Trump an acceptable American leader.”

With the conference aimed at promoting the governor’s redistricting measure, Proposition 50, the remarks underscored the highly charged political climate swirling around the upcoming vote.

Jennifer Siebel Newsom calls out Trump

Jennifer Siebel Newsom's remarks were unapologetically direct as she framed Donald Trump’s leadership as antithetical to her family’s values.

While speaking to supporters, she criticized his leadership, calling him the "exact opposite" of what "real strength" represents.

Jennifer said she will not raise her children “to think Donald Trump is an acceptable American leader, nor that he is what the leader of our great country should behave like."

"I won’t raise them to believe his terror fuels his power or that his greed defines success," she asserted.

She went on to describe the kind of values she and her husband intend to instill, saying, "If you see someone sitting alone at a table, you invite them to your table. If you see someone being bullied, you speak up and ask an adult for help. You always, always tell the truth."

Jennifer even questioned how the POTUS was raised, quipping, "Maybe if Donald Trump’s parents had taught him any of these lessons, they wouldn’t be in this mess."

Jennifer Siebel Newsom slams Trump for attacking democracy

Her critique escalated into a full-blown condemnation of Donald Trump’s conduct and presidency.

“On the contrary, Trump is enriching his immediate family and cronies. He is stripping away our rights and our democracy. When he knows he’s going to lose, he cheats. When the game isn’t rigged for him, he rigs it himself,” she asserted.

She went further: "Sometimes no is a full sentence, trust me. That’s right. But Donald Trump’s never accepted no for an answer. He’s a con artist, a predator, a malignant narcissist, insheep, and the worst president in our nation’s history."

Gavin and Trump's war of words

Since Donald Trump’s return to office, Gavin Newsom and the president have repeatedly sparred in the media and online.

The two leaders have frequently exchanged barbs in interviews, press conferences, and across social media, each using the other as a political foil.

The California governor has accused him of undermining democratic values and ignoring the needs of states like California by withholding funds.

While Trump has dismissed Gavin as ineffective and incompetent.

In the past months, Newsom has even adopted the president's viral social media style to push back against him and his administration, often using memes and unflattering nicknames.
