Nicole Arbour alleges Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo's divorce announcement is a 'publicity stunt'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Comedian Nicole Arbour has publicly criticized rapper and singer Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s recent divorce announcement, alleging that the split is a calculated publicity stunt designed to generate attention.
The remarks came during an interview where Arbour revisited her long-running feud with the country singer while sharing her views on the highly publicized breakup. She also repeated several allegations against Jelly Roll as she discussed the fallout from their ongoing dispute.
Nicole Arbour alleges Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are using divorce for publicity
Arbour told The Post that she believes Jelly Roll and his estranged wife are creating controversy to benefit from media attention.
She said, “Jelly Roll and his wife will create a PR scandal, I believe this divorce is. They create a giant scandal with the press that they get off of, then launch something."
The comedian, who recently released a diss track about the country singer titled 'Cosplay Christian,' has been vocal in her criticism of the musician. She also alleged that Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, had engaged in threatening behavior toward her over the years.
According to Arbour, the Grammy-nominated singer allegedly “threatened, stalked … and planned to kill.” In her Instagram series, 'The Jelly Roll Files,' Arbour alleged that he "verbally assaulted" her on March 1 and said she subsequently filed a police report regarding the incident.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department previously told TMZ that no charges resulted from the complaint, while an insider told the outlet that her allegations had "no merit."

Arbour also alleged that she and Jelly Roll attempted to resolve the matter privately before she released 'Cosplay Christian.'
“They sent me a hush money deal,” she claimed, adding, “I dropped ‘Cosplay Christian.’”
In the track, she accused him of presenting himself as a Christian despite discovering religion later in life. She further claimed that her public accusations created tension between the former couple and negatively affected the singer's professional relationships.
“I was told one of his main sponsors quit because she wouldn’t work with him after seeing my videos,” Arbour alleged. She also claimed that members of Jelly Roll's team informed her that he had begun losing brand partnerships and experiencing declining ticket sales.
“People in his team told me that he started losing brand deals, and the ticket sales for his concerts went right down if they didn’t have to be completely canceled,” she said, adding, “They’re giving away 1000s of tickets to all of his shows with Post Malone.”
A representative for Jelly Roll pointed to her failed 2021 and 2022 lawsuits against country rapper Ryan Upchurch, in which she had accused him of defamation and copyright infringement. Both cases were later dismissed.
