GoFundMe raised for sole survivor in Oklahoma murder-suicide
Relatives of a 10-year-old boy, who tragically found his parents and three older brothers deceased in their Oklahoma residence earlier this week, have initiated a GoFundMe initiative to assist with the aftermath of the killings.
The fundraising effort was launched by the boy’s uncle, Brent Remerowski, who stated that the proceeds will cover “funeral expenses, counseling, education, and the child's general well-being.”
The identity of the 10-year-old boy has not been disclosed by either authorities or the family. He alerted emergency services after awakening to discover five bodies at home on the morning of April 22, as reported by the Oklahoma City police. According to the police, the boy indicated that everyone in the household appeared to be deceased.
Additionally, numerous donors have expressed their condolences to the 10-year-old son.
One said, "Prayers for the family’s journey to healing and for this child to be wrapped in love and good." The second claimed, "My deepest condolences to the sweet little one and the family. May God comfort and be with you all during this time."
The third added, "My deepest sympathy for my cousin's daughter and family who were tragically taken from all those who loved them. My thoughts and prayers are also with my my other cousins as they grieve this terrible loss."

Jonathon Candy killed wife and 3 children in Oklahoma
On April 22, around 9:35 in the morning, a 10-year-old boy called the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) to say many people were dead inside a home on Mirage Street. The house was in the 2800 block of Czech Hall Estates.
Officers came and found five people dead, all shot. The boy was outside the house and was not hurt. Later, his relatives took care of him.
The other victims were identified as Lindsay Candy, 39, and his children Dylan,18 years old, Ethan 14 years old, and Lucas 12 years old.
At a press conference, OCPD Sergeant Gary Knight said Jonathon Candy had a fight with his wife during the night and shot her many times.
Then he shot and killed his children. The children were in different parts of the house. Two were upstairs and two were downstairs.
Police found at least one child shot in bed. They said the kids were "hunted down and killed."
Authorities are still figuring out why Jonathon Candy did this. They want to know if he planned it or did it suddenly. Knight said they may never know why the 10-year-old son wasn't hurt.
He said, "Nobody's ever going to know the answer to that." Knight said it was like a massacre in the house.
He said, "It's unclear what made him want to go through the home, killing the children. But make no mistake about it, what happened in that residence was nothing short of a massacre."
Knight said the couple never had problems with the law before, and nobody reported any fights at home.
He called it a terrible thing for everyone, especially for the boy who found the dead bodies. Knight said the boy "apparently had been asleep" during his dad's attack and woke up later to see what happened.
He said the boy's bedroom door was closed, and there was a fan running inside. "There is no indication he didn't sleep through it," Knight explained.
Candy's family, "Our entire family has been left shattered and confused with so many questions we won’t ever have answers to, Jonathon was the one whose jokes and goofy attitude kept everyone smiling."
They added, "Aside from these events, his children and wife were his entire life. I simply can’t fathom what went on but please, hug your family tight. It’s going to be a very long healing process for everyone affected."
