WASHINGTON, DC: Mark Levin hailed Donald Trump over the outcome of the negotiation with Iran and the US’ edge in the current situation with Iran, after the president announced that Tehran has agreed to give up on its nuclear program.

Levin’s remarks came after Trump, on Friday, April 17, said that he trusts Iran to sign the peace deal soon.

Mark Levin says only Trump could bring the US to this point

Speaking on Fox News' ‘Life, Liberty, and Levin’, Mark Levin said, “Only Donald Trump could do this. Only Donald Trump could bring us to this point, and he’s the only one who did."

He added that Iranians are on their back and Trump “is going to make a very tough deal with them.” Levin was possibly referring to Trump announcing the “complete” reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, addressing a gathering at the Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump spoke about Iran announcing the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and reiterated that the blockading of ships to and from Iranian ports will continue until a peace deal is sealed.

"The naval blockade with the greatest navy in the world, from the greatest military the world has ever seen, we built it. During my first term, we built it... We'll remain in full force and effect as it pertains to Iran until such time as our transaction with Iran is 100 per cent complete and fully signed," the commander-in-chief said.

Mark Levin shares his concerns about Democrats

Levin further cast doubt on the determination of Democrats on confrontation with Iran, saying if Trump leaves, none of the Democratic leaders will uphold the deal. However, he expressed some hope in Senator John Fetterman, who often voices his support for Trump over the handling of the Iran issue.

“My concern is, when Donald Trump leaves, you hear these Democrats—there’s not one of them, not one of them other than Fetterman—who, if they become president, will uphold a deal,” Levin lashed out at Democrats.

He said once they come to power, they will not send the military on the ground and will not show determination. Levin accused them of being "anti-Americans" and said they are backed by society, which will not allow them to “do it.”

“I’m very worried about that. They’re not going to send the military in. They’re isolationists. They’re anti-American, and their base won’t allow them to do it."

Trump says Iran has agreed to hand over enriched uranium to the US

Trump also reiterated that Iran has agreed to hand over enriched uranium to the US, saying that America will help Tehran in the move, and it will be done in a “very peaceful manner.”

"Somebody said, how are we going to get the nuclear dust? We're going to get it by going in with Iran, with lots of excavators," Trump said. "We need the biggest excavators you can imagine. But we're going to go in together with Iran. We're going to get it. We're going to take it back home to the USA very soon."
